Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The last 2 seasons have been 1000x more exciting and close than the last decade. But to each their own. Once again, this year's WDC wil very likely go down to the last race. You can't ask for more than that as a fan of the sport.

I have to agree with you! It has been very exciting to watch this year. Yeah MS was the ****, but with him no longer in the picture, I like that the field has been a mix. Has had some first time winners. First timers on the podium. Very nice that almost every driver has placed in the points to. BORING MY ARSE!

Boring? How could it be anything else when each time anyone passes a red car they get penalized? What fun is that? The FIA's cuadling of Ferrari must stop. The penalty against Bourdais from the Japanese GP today is the last straw for me. They no longer get the benefit of the doubt from me. They are definitely protecting Ferrari and spoon feeding them championship points they don't deserve any time they can. It is so obvious, but few will face the issue. F1 could survive without a dominant Ferrari team. It has done so before. So why is it so damn scared to have Lewis Hamilton at the top?

    The comedy of errors continues.

    F1 is 100 % fake.

All is done (penalties) to let suspense till the last race.

    A great joke !!!

It is starting to look like Professional Wrestling.

Twice now, more points have been awarded to the 2nd place contender (after the race) just to keep it close, for the sake of bigger TV ratings.

    +1

However some races this season are truly boring. Japan was.

    +1

The Spa decision was shameful and the one against Seabass ridiculous.

Bottom line is, that the FIA is not doing Ferrari a favor by showing favoritism: People's opinion will eventually turn against the reds and even when they score a deserved victory, people will no longer take them seriously. F1 racing is all about creating a positive image for your car brand. McLaren-Mercedes learned that the hard way last year. If the Scuderia remains the FIA's golden haired boy, then the value of the Ferrari brand gets tarnished.

Exactly...I mean, it does suck that Ferrari doesn't dominate like during the Schumacher era (latter part), but for the last four seasons the championship has been decided in the final race. There is hate and acrimony between drivers and a universally despised guy running towards the front. I think it's more dramatic than ever.

Now, compelling might be a different thing. It's not boring, but it definitely feels contrived.

I like LH and what he brings to the game, but suffice it to say there are drivers and tons of F1 fans who don't share the sentiment.

Top notch drivers are always polarizing drivers and fans alike. People loved and hated Lauda, Prost, Senna, Schumacher and Alonso. Hamilton is no different.

i think F1 is boring in the sense of barely any overtaking. find Hockenheim 2000 on youtube.

i think this 19k rev limiter is a waste of money and time. and oh..that V8s too..
