Just curious, hearing all of the people that have lost their 401(k) (including me!!), etc., etc., what the spot price is for a decent 348. Not asking price, not bidding price, just what's everyone's take on what these cars actually are bringing today?

35-38 would be my guess.... if you could find a buyer.

That's about what I was figuring, too. I was checking the resale on my wife's Mercedes and it's dropped $10K since Feb. Ouch.

Looked at two this past week and a 92 T/S (needs lots) with 23xxx was 47K and the 94 Spider needs paint chips only 59K

my 401k is stable and suffered no loss.

60k and over depending on the color, condition and mileage... the later can fetch over 70k spyders.. any 348 under 50k i would not even look..

My 1990 348 has essentially a brand new top-end (32 valves, etc. etc.), new WP, HyperFlows, literally a brand new 600-mile transmission (not rebuilt!), X-OST, carbon fiber roof, etc. etc. $38k would be a strong offer. It is however, not for sale.

Markets are, by definition, extremely efficient in an environment of instant communication.

Deal. You can have mine for a rock-bottom price of $60K. And since your 401(K) has suffered no loss, I'll charge you extra for the tubi, the rims, and the soon-to-be-completed Challenge Grill. :)
