Fantastic pics everyone, even in the bad German weather! After all of your encouragement I have now started to write my book again - not sure when it will be finished or even if anyone would publish it. Watch this space! In the meantime, a professional DVD documentary of our first Le Mans (2006) with the DBR9 will soon be released - it's a great story, with lots of interviews with me and our drivers (Nelson Piquet Jr., David Brabham, Antonio Garcia). That year we finished 4th in GT1 and 9th overall....... I apologise for the blatant promotion of such a commercial item, but many of you may enjoy it and it could make a great Christmas present for petrolhead friends and family! I may put in a link to purchase it, if I am allowed to do such things - I apologise in advance if this kind of promotion is not permitted.

Hi, Rik... i'm still surprised to have found this topic: i can't believe that an FXX owner is so kind to reply all this questions...Many thanks, this is a wonderfull thing... i'd like to ask you something, too... i found on ferraricorseclienti's photogallery, the pics of a white FXX with red stripes at Laguna ( Number 1 ). but who own this one??? i can't find the driver info on ferraricorseclienti...many thanks, Davide.

Was anybody this weekend at the Mugello circuit for the Finali Ferrari Challenge? There were 14 FXXs and some Evoluziones, including the famous FXX #30 of Schumacher! I was there.. The Finali Mondiali at Mugello were excellent - possibly one of the best FXX weekends ever for me, although driving in the dark at 5pm on Friday evening wasn't so much fun. Saturday evening from 4.15pm was a great session, with the light just starting to fade. On one lap, Manuma dived down my inside out of Arrabiata 2, and I could see his discs glowing as he braked for the next chicane! Awesome. Now it's time for a rest over the winter, and the Evo cars will be getting their camera systems upgraded. Not sure when we'll start again next year!
