    There have been plenty of release dates. If it is ever released, it will no doubt be a disappointment to all of the fans that have been craving more of the old GnR. He should scrap Chinese Democracy and, instead, release a condensed and remixed version of Use Your Illusion with the following changes:

    1. Condsense it down to one CD by eliminating tracks like My World, the alternative lyrics version of Don't Cry, etc.

    2. Take out all of the sound effects (thunder, rain, clicking guns, etc.), Axel voiceovers ("You just better start sniffin' your own rank subjugation Jack..."), movie sampling ("What we got here..."), violins, choir girls and all the other extraneous crap. Pare it down to nothing but vocals, guitars, bass, drums and piano with a rawer sound à la Appetite for Destruction.

    It would cost next to nothing (especially compared to the $13+ mill already invested in Democracy), be an immediate best seller and fans and critics would both rave.

    Too much invested in Democracy? Fine - release whatever you have NOW and label it as an Axel Rose solo project.
