I just purchased an 09 Gallardo from Lamborghini of Ohio. Overall, the experience was positive right up until the time I paid for and received the car. Since then, it has been "I'll get to you when I get a chance". There are a few problems that they just do not seem interested in dealing with. Very disappointing.

Am I the unlucky one or have others had similar experiences. I'm trying to decide whether or not to switch dealers. I am also looking forward to the customer satisfaction discussion that should be forthcoming from Lamborghini.

Thanks in advance for sharing any experiences you may have had with this dealership.

I am really suprised. I have done TON'S of business with these guys at all level's (sales, service, and parts dept.) and they have been AMAZING in every department. Did you talk to Steve the GM? He is a great guy. I know Greg Nelson will do whatever it takes to make his customers happy, maybe go right to him.

Honestly, this dealership has always been FANTASTIC. Parker the head mechanic is just AWESOME, honest as the day is long and patient with any question you may have. Really an incredible person. Glen the parts manager is from the same mold, just incredible to deal with. Parts i have needed and could not find he goes out of his way to get, parts i have needed like yesterday he get's them to me immediately, can not say enough GOOD about these guys. Steve the GM again just a straight, honest, no BS guy. The whole team there have always gone way over board on customer service. Greg Nelson would have it NO other way.

I know this sounds like i am an employee there or maybe even Greg's son. I'm just a customer who has alway been VERY SATISFIED. I have a couple thousand dollars worth of parts on order with them right now and my Countach and Diablo are going in for major service at the end of this month also.

Good luck, contact the people i mentioned and i guarantee they will get whatever you need DONE immediately.

I have had no personal dealings with them but have heard and read positive things about them over the years. If you bought a new '09 car I'm shocked at your description of their actions. What's your beef?

    I must say weird...

They have always been as far as I am concerned one of the BEST Lambo Dealers to deal with...NEVER an issue in all our dealings with them..

Try calling and asking for the big boss himself...I think you would find a different tone..

The unavailability seems to be a common theme with alot of high volume exotics dealers. Sorry to hear about your problems. Maybe someone on their staff will read your post and get on the ball?

Here is some insight that I hope you will actually find dispasionate, constructive, and useful.

The people who have the most to lose and with whom you'll have the most leverage with in getting good customer service results from are the same ones who sold you the car, so I would not consider switching dealers, at least until you get the "problems" dealt with.

Obviously you go up the chain of command, from your salesman, to the sales manager to the general manager. It goes without saying that sometimes patience is needed whilst you build a relationship with any organization, and then satisfaction seems to follow. Having said all that, if you have purchased a brand new Lamborghini from them, they should be attending to any needs. And Pronto! Even though some are casting doubt upon your story, the fact remains that the customer must remain satisfied. Period. Clearly you aren't, so Lamborghini Ohio is just not as "AMAZING/FANTASTIC/AWESOME" all the time, every time, as some looking to score brownie points with them will have you believe.

I can tell you that I have dealt with this dealership. I was introduced to Greg Nelson 12 years ago by the head of Lamborghini USA and we proceeded to do business thereafter, not limited to, but including my purchase of a Diablo (SE 30) and a Countach (25 Annivesario) from them. Greg Nelson is a good guy. But he is not a magician, nor is his team. Things happen, and they need to be resolved. Anyone telling you that their dealership or any other, for that matter, is the Garden of Eden, is blowing smoke. They will want to help you resolve your issue, and that will happen upon your persistence. Stick with them, clarify your needs and build a rapport, and you should get taken care of.

Once your issues are resolved, if you want local people to look after your car, I can vouch for Steve Ooley and John Blackburn whom Ive done extensive business with for 10 years. You see, Steve is a dyed-in-the-wool Lamborghini enthusiast who has owned a Countach LP500S almost from new. And if you see how he keeps it you will want to business with him!

It is obvious that certain members will have there favorites. Why is it when a certain BROKER touts a dealer or mechanic it is gospil? "HOWEVER", let someone else do the same and now "IT'S SCORING BROWNIE POINTS".

Perhaps those that play "THE NUMBERS GAME" (hint, hint) should not be casting stones.

CONRACK, Nelson is probably the USA best dealer IMHO.

Whenever I have extolled the virtues of any dealer or mechanic, it is done in a dispassionate way covering their experience, but with the usual provisos that apply when dealing with anyone, and helpful insight.

"AMAZING/FANTASTIC/AWESOME" when used in the same post is an over-the-top characterization that is not particularly helpful to Conracks plight, and somehow suggests that Conrack's issues cant possibly be material. You speak almost as if you can guarantee Nelson's performance, and the truth of the matter is that you are just a customer so you cant.

As Ive already indicated from personal experience, Nelson are a good dealership, but not perfect. No dealership, or mechanic is, and yes, I will include the ones I deal with....

If you truly have no affiliation with Nelson, but are waxing lyrical and extolling virtues such as you have, then all I can say is that you're either looking to score brownie points with them, or royally kissing behind, neither of which will get Conrack anywhere...

I cannot confirm whether Nelson uses orange silicone or not.

In no fashion or manner am i belittling CONRACK'S plight. You are insinuating that i am. Once again, you are wrong. I am happy to admit when i am wrong, in your 9633 post you have never done so. Now would be a good time to start.

If my acalades of Nelson's service sounds strong it's because i call a spade a spade when i see it.

You have a twisted mind. Your twist of my comments into a racist one could not be further from the truth.

Don't be an idiot. I stand by my comments to assist the thread-starter in a meaningful way, without modification of any of my sentiments.

"OK" meant my point had been made...
