The name of the "owner" is known but nobody wants to reveal the chassis number or the assembly number??? What is the secret here or did I miss something?

Some generous dude offered me that car in an email for 500K. All I had to do was provide him with my banking info and home address.

Outbenchthis and the rest of the gentlemen, I'll try my best to fill the blanks for you. I can sell the car since the government got their hands on all of his properties ( His cars, Villas, etc... ). Luckily though, Abu Ayash was able to ship all of his super cars to Canada before getting arrested yet he left the Enzo here. The guy used to own a bank which was stolen by him or his crew. So the government is selling all of his properties in order to pay the people that invested in his bank their money back.

Marcel Massini, I meant the new owner. Not Abu Ayash.

    Regards,

    ZiadR

Prove it. Post the assembly number. If the enzo is known, then the VIN is already in circulation. If its not known then we only have the assembly number and can't do much with it

You're on an INTERNET message board. You go from "finding" an Enzo that has been left in customs for 5 years to investigating it for us to selling it on the behalf of whoever in a matter of days

Sorry if we seem a little skeptical

    Hmm...

So, do tell... how are you privy to all this 'illegal' (as you stated yourself) information?
As you mentioned yourself, the information is available to those who have money.
    Which begs the questions:
If there is already a buyer, why are you asking us to wish 'you' luck?
What stake do you have in the matter, if you are not allowed to even take pictures of the car?

I don't mean to come across as being condescending, but those are a few questions that crossed my mind when reading your posts.
    Regardless, Thank's for the information

I don't see why there is so much talk about this car. This kind of crap happens in the world -especially the third world- all the time. Luxury items are bought buy unscrupulous people with other people's money. Political, financial, and/or legal (in)justice eventually comes around and the inevitable... The luxury items are transferred into the hands of those diligent or well-connected persons who are in the right place at the right time with the right resources. If anyone wishes so much to be that person then they must do the footwork. In this case, I firmly believe that you would have to fly to Lebanon and pursue the matter. Ziad is a good guy with good intentions and will certainly be helpful. Keep in mind that certain countries have 'fee or donation requirements' at every corner. The car is not yours until the paperwork is in order and it's sitting in your garage.

Well guys, I picked up my Enzo that I bought from Lebanon a few days ago. I had it shipped in by a 747 cargo plane. Did a quick wash and wax, checked all the fluids, and then hit the road for a quick cruise through the trailer park.
Whoops! Didn't see that old hound dog sleeping in the road. No big deal. It'll buff right out.

It's not about whether this kind of things happen or not (they do)

It's about the credibility of ZiadR's involvement.

High-school student who was not allowed to take pictures of an Enzo, is now selling it.

Ziad...with all due respect, please explain yourself.

    Regards

I can't see why I'm being attacked here... For what? Sharing a cool story with you?

I went to the customs today, paid an amount of money, and got lots of info... The car has 200 miles and the Assembly number is 46612. That's just to shut up some people around here... Here's the Assembly, satisfied? The car is entering an auction in 2 months most probably and for those who are interested, I can give it to them but they have to pay $20,000 just for a guy that can give you the car without entering it into auction. That's how it works here... And just for the information, nothing is being put into my pocket. Everything being told for me, I'm sharing it with you... I have no intentions at all but to help here, I guess I'm wrong. Sorry for posting. You can close this thread.

One last picture I took today:

    Goodbye.

Belongs to Enzo S/N 130269, red with black interior.
12/2002 new to Ferrari Deutschland GmbH of Wiesbaden, Germany.
Sold new to first owner Heinrich Meyendriesch of Schwalmtal, Germany, an underground and surface engineer and architect.
Registered on German license plates "EI-MS 437" (EI stands for Eichstätt area).
In January 2005 this Enzo was offered on ebay.
"5 years untouched at the airport in Lebanon"?
