What a funny movie: Officer Slater: Hey kid, what's your real name? Fogell: Fogell... it's Fogell. Officer Michaels: Fogell? **** that, we're calling you McLovin!
When I was about 20, a buddy of mine drafted a perfect 2 x 3 foot board with the State of Nevada drivers license and a blank area for your face. He would take a Polariod of it and laminate the photo. It was about as perfect as you could get for a fake ID. He charged $25 per copy. Richest guy I knew at the time!
Are US driving licenses so easy to forge? Looking at mine, it's a credit card sized piece of plastic with the picture printed "into" the inner plastic layer, with tons of holograms and basically every security feature you find on a bank note, too... no way you can forge that without serious machinery!
Each state is different---Some more strict as to the security measures they use....The state I live-in has gotten much better over the last few years with double photos and holograms, etc. They also have a barcode on the back which I can scan to confirm your info is correct. The guys making the fake ID's haven't quite figured out how to replicate the barcode properly...
you've probably caught a few users in your day...care to share some of the best (as in worst) id's you've ever seen?
My father used to have a South Carolina driver's license that was pressed in metal like a cross between a GI dog-tag and a credit card. He paid an extra dollar for it as the regular SC licenses were paper and wore out in the wallet. No photo of course.
But anything that looks halfway legitimate will work in another state. I have no idea what any other states' licenses look like, most people don't, I'm not even sure what my own license looks like. It just can't look or be cheesy, and chances are it will work - in another state.
