I dont actually mind it, but most of my friends dont like it.

 

hey matt, quite a bit actually. as in another reply, for sure all bushings need replacement. the whole suspension including shocks aczually may become stiff.
corrosion on the car and inside the engine.
seals on the engine may all go hard and will have to be replaced. actually more of a total engine rebuild.

keep in mind that engine oil also contains anti corrosives that protect the inside of an engine. if the engine is not regularly cranked, it can seize and stop running.

this might not be the case, as for all we know the car has been kept running and did not even have a flat battery. which i doubt though.

 

Cool attitude.............no need for arrogance over here. This is not a race........go get it if it's an achievement for you and would make you happy.

 

Hopefully that is true.

 

Personally i dont think either of you will get it, nothing against you guys, you are all good, its just my bet!

That is a GREAT attitude to have my friend!

It is not the end of the world if you dont get it. Life goes on and you may well have an Enzo in the garage in the future.

If the car has truly been sitting outside for 3-4 years, Ive got 2 words:

Restoration Project.

 

All Mike has to do is send the car to ferrari, who knows they may make it a 2009???

 

TK.....in all honesty.....leave that Enzo to whoever wants to go through the hassle.
Just put your name down for the successor....you will have the better car at roughly the same it might cost you to bother with this one. Too many uncertainties involved.

I hear this "Ziad" guy calling you on behalf of Mike has been bothering you and spreading all sorts of lies and claiming that he knows me or knows about me..........extremely low of him when neither of them could possibly know me. All I can say is that I am sorry and disappointed that even through our hobbies and passions we are subjected to such people. You are a member of our community and IMO, Mike being a member here as well, he should have spoken to you directly without the need to resort to an unknown middle man.

Sorry you had to go through all this trouble when all you wanted to do is help the Ferrari community and to share your adventure and find with men of the same passion.

Ok........I misunderstood then, the other Ziad is an acquaintance of Mike and he too wants the car.

 

oh ok, now I get it.. I think..

so Tarek... given some of the warnings that you are getting from others, do you want to leave the car to someone else who wants the hassle? Or do you want to be the guy who wants all the hassle of restoring this Enzo?

 

I've always enjoyed hassles..........it's part of my daily life. Intouch can confirm that .

 

My cousin is going to Egypt next week for a few months, maybe he can catch a glimpse of the car when you get it..

(but then again, he's not much of a car guy, so I would have to enjoy it vicariously)

 

oh, we run from hassle to hassle...and if all is smooth we go out of our way to find some hassle. actually i have car hassle in customs since last week and then next week i have car hassle again. just hope that this hassle is done before next weeks hassle.
on top of that there is the hassle that is supposed be shipped from the states this week or so i hope. that and the hassle that is currently in cargo on the freighter that broke down.
