he deserves it for not wearing a helmet. don't people know that you're going to get hurt if you don't wear one?
he still deserves what he got. if he isn't wearing a helmet, he is clearly not smart(a smart person would wear a helmet). this is the basis of the darwin awards: that the stupid of the gene pool will (hopefully) eliminate themselves by being stupid so their idiot genes will be eliminated.
I think wearing a helmet is the least of his worries. Perhaps being able to get it up ever again would be my top priority, if i was him.
Did any one see the X-Games a few years ago when whats-his-name had the huge fall in the big air skating??? That was BAD! I know a LOT of people who started skating, and have become people I try to stay away from.(Nothing against skaters.) Go BMX!
