Yes its a new model too, so you're not doing too bad aren't you DM Can someone give more details about the 'Chater Rd' event on Sunday? Is it one of those classic car events? What time is it? Do I need to buy tickets? Don't mind going and taking a look, cheers.
No need to buy tickets. But there should be some door guards might ask to check member badge. You can print out this invitation note and say you are invited by club and club member. Or call me at 94002552, I can bring you in. Bob

Which 2? Did the China limo win top prize? The black Dino looked like a nice car - was surprised that it came away empty handed. Did you have a fun day? Which was your Skyline? Post some photos? I was there at lunch time and all of the car owners seemed to be off eating
I think was the most desirable car by members and another award by the judges. China Red Flag won the best presentation. The black Dino didn't get award. My friend's 240z won the best chassic/engine. My Skyline is the grey 71'. I have been standing there all day from 7:30 to 5. Tired but saw many friends and made many new friends. Your car is really cool. I was looking for you around 130 but no luck. Which car took the top prize for best overall?
I am sorry I didn't get a chance to meet with you yesterday. I went to lunch at 1pm. I am not sure who took the top prize, maybe the Red Flag.
I went too, thanks again for the invitation note Bob. Didn't see you when I was checking out your car and the Delorean. The DB4 looked a lot better than when it was in the carpark where I snapped a photo of it!
Met up with my friend in his spanking new car over the weekend; beautiful choice of color. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Gentlemen the Novitec wheels on the 599 i posted a while back are for sale if anyone here or anyone's friends are interested in the set, the wheels and tires have done less than 1000km, no scratches curbing. They retail at $117,000 but willing to get rid of them for $70,000 HKD includes tires.
They are good looking wheels. Did the car sell? Saw it on Car City website for a long time. Seems like IMSS have not sold a used 599 in quite a while
The car is still unsold, i noticed two 599's are still on the IMSS website as well. They did have a nice Red on red/black daytona seats for sale recently, I am not sure if they got rid of the one yet. Hows the scud?
I think the red on red/black car is sold. It was a great looking car. The Scud is great thanks. Have not been driving it as much as I should be. Need to exercise it more!
Hi there. As a terminal car nut living in HK, I'd just like to introduce myself after finding this great thread! I have a few things to contribute to you guys' quite amazing photos, but I first have a question. What is the policy on posting cars with their number plates displayed? I remember reading a few posts in another thread months ago where it seemed a sensitive subject, but after going through the last 18 pages of this thread it seems no-one really minds. I don't tend to erase the plate details unless the cars are close to home, but I will be more than willing to if it means I don't upset anyone here. Could someone please clarify? Thanks!
Welcome to Fchat As far as license plates go, it all depends on the poster; afterall, I don't think moderators can ban users just for posting license plates. For me and I think most of the fchatters, we tend to not post the plates as HK is a very small place; everyone knows everyone. It is also a bit disrespectful to the owners IMO..
Thanks for the welcome. I generally agree, especially on your point of the size of the place. Looks like from now on I'll be disguising the plates. EDIT: Well, here's one that makes it a moot point I guess. Ferrari F40 in white. I believe it was an ex-Sultan of Brunei car sourced via Japan, but I'm sure you chaps have a far greater knowledge of it's history than me! Needless to say, involuntary bowel movements, followed by chaotic scrambling for the camera ensued when I saw this waiting at the lights outside my office! Lexus LF-A in the Lexus dealer on Fenwick St., Wanchai. Not an 'on the road' sighting, but this warranted a similar tightening of the bowels as the above car. Got off the bus at the next stop to get take these and was late for a meeting. Oh well. - Lamborghini Murcielago 40th Anniversary (1 of 50) taken with my rather crappy Sony phone. - Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary. Ex-Scottish car I believe. It looks black, but it's actually green. - Mercedes CLK55 DTM, just one car of quite a personal collection I believe! - Ferrari 512 BBi - Real-deal Porsche 993 GT2 - Ferrari 360 Modena - Lambo Diablos - Dino 246 GT - Dino 246 GTS - Ferrari F355 - 599 GTB (Just a nice pic of an awesome car) - Merc 190SL - F430 Challenge - F50 - Murcie LP640 - Countach LP500S - Aston Vanquish Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, mate! Actually that's just a small selection of a few thousand. Gonna take a while to blank out those plates though! Yes, the BBi was a real peach. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. The only BBi I've seen on the road was in Knightsbridge, London about ten years ago. I love the fact that HK cars are (in the main) so well cared for. It was in the same car park as a bronze Jalpa and parked next to a yellow NSX, a CLK Black Series, a 50's Rolls drophead behemoth, a Murcielago under a dust sheet and a hardcore R34 GT-R (maybe a Nismo Z-Tune, but I'm not quite sure as it also had a cover on it), Mr. Security was beginning to take an interest in my handywork so I scarpered sharpish.
Yes, I believe I have posted pics of the Jalpa in this thread before; that garage does have some goodies Keep the pics coming! Unfortunately, you probably need to subscribe to fchat soon as you are going to use up your uploading space fast! But i think its well worth the money, I will subscribe as soon as I run out of space too
