WOW! Everybody talking about money, makes me want to scream! Am I the only Ferrari owner / buisness owner alive bleeding money at the moment? My banker is dead without me, my accountants tell me I need to cut my losses on a buisness interest I have, I spend 20hours a day working or at a computer, and some of you guys are finding time to go, lay out your cars, their deeds, and pose for photos!

Damn I am in the wrong buisness!!!

Best health to everyone, and dont be like me, stubborness causes you financial heartache! Right, im pissing off to Paris for a drink!

Hey everyone, i have read the thread...not all of it...too many pages...oops! But very interesting car, I actually enquired about it and it is soo dodgy its not real! The customs have already put a reserve on the car for anyone to buy it and ofcourse grease a few pockets in the process. They want a min of E900,000 (euros) for it. Put it this way, the paper work will always be dodgy, the car itself look ok cosmetically....so am not sure about how accurate the milage is or the engine...they wouldnt permit me to take a mechanic there with out paying a deposit.

What a car! Good luck to anyone who has the balls to part with the cash on such a risky venture...might as well just buy one in europe or usa for similar cash and be sure its a real thing. However, knowing lebanon....everything can be resolved.

good luck guys...if u do get it....give us a ride!!

I am reading it now Ziad..........if that's what the whole package will end up costing me, they can keep the Enzo and turn it into one of Lebanon's most exotic sightseeings.

Antonio is on the case and will revert to me in a day or two...........will take it from there.

    tarek,

good luck...hope you are able to get it sorted out...but trust me...dont pay that sort of money for that car. Not even close to worth it. And knowing lebanese authoroties...few years down the line they might turn around and tell you something and claim the car back as part of a case....I dont trust it one bit. however...u never know. G luck.

Thank you Manssour for the advise.......my budget for this Enzo is way below that price. IMO, it will require at least US$200k-250k in order to restore it back to factory condition.

yeah it would take a lot of money, there is no doubt about that, I'm sure you know what your doing but as Manssour said, just be careful and good luck in the quest to get this car.

That's all good advice for Tarek but I have no doubt Tarek will do his due diligence and determine whether it's feasible or not..let's hope for Tarek's sake that EUR900K is VERY VERY negotiable.

People are saying that the car costs this much but we have already talked about the price. It's way way cheaper than that... Good luck habibi.

I feel my input is needed here, forgive me if it is not.

I contacted Ziad R regarding the sale of this Enzo, it emerged that in order to secure this car a healthy sum would have to go to many partys, and to be honest, I didnt care, I had a price in mind, and all things considered, it still came in under budget. I made my offer, I thought it was accpeted, I was told that "this car will be sold to nobody else but you", I had a guy from Ferrari on standby to go to Lebanon, I offered some cash upfront, I asked for a contact number, all started to fall to peices... now I find Tarek, amongst others are around the same point as me.

My opinion, ZiadR is someone trying to make a quick buck on the back of someone elses sale, he has no right of sale over this car, and has created alot of wasted time over hearsay or gossip he has gotten wind of.

I belive whole heartledly this will turn into nothing more than wasted hopes or a sale that nobody is interested in...

Good thing it is an interesting read then...

    Best

    Michael James,

Tarek seems to understand the situation around here much better than anyone else. So that's why the car should be given to him. I am not someone trying to make a quick buck on the back of someone elses sale and I do have a right of selling this car. If you feel your time is wasted, don't open this topic anymore. And by the way, I confused you with someone else who contacted me by phone when I said that the car won't be sold except for you. Let's wait and see Tarek's next thread... And it'll be really interesting reading your comment on his topic.

    Regards Michael,

    ZiadR

So you talked to a third or fourth person (beside Michael, Tarek and icemanbops) on the phone and promised him to be the only one to get the car?

Following this thread for the last days, I am still confused about your role, Ziad. You are a student, presumably around my age (I'm 22), you saw that Enzo locked up at the airport and suddenly you are the one to broker it? While I'm only watching from the sidelines and have no other interest than my very own curiosity and entertainment, I'd love to see you shed a bit of light on that issue, and I guess I'm not the only one here to wish so.

I didn't talk with anyone. I received calls from different people concerning the car and I was confused with how many Michaels there was as there was more than 2. Besides, I did promise one of them with the car before Tarek wanted it. I changed my mind and didn't keep my word with that guy because Tarek is a friend of mine who understood the situation of the car more than anyone and knew how the system works here.

My role? I am in charge of selling the car. The customs saw me that I know a few things about cars and told me that the car is for sale and if I have someone who wants to buy it. We're not the US nor Europe. So the government here has a hard time selling the car.

I hope I made some sort of clarification.

    Regards,

    Ziad

Ziad how did u get exclusive rights on this sale? I know the receivership(s) in charge of the "Ayash" estate and they are all over the place. Ziad is being genuine people, unfortunatly thats the way lebanon works....there is always several truths.

I dont know Ziad personally, but I believe he is trying to make good on his word, dont know anything about his sale offers....but I do know lebanon....and its a twisted system...on purpose too.

Good luck ziad, hope u get things sorted out.

Guys...just be careful on any transaction, get a letter of no objection, stating that who ever sells it will not make any further claims on the car regardless of any issues by the estate holder, govt, or any third party. Get Clear title!

All the best...who ever gets it...post your experience. I walked away...with out asking more questions...the first few answers I got...made me run (not walk) away.

If you look at the wheels spokes in each of the pic's. they have not moved as they would if driven! I'v heard of stranger things. Just cuz it's a Ferrari don't mean it's got a smooth owner!
