What side-project bands do you enjoy?

I love Mad Season. For me, Layne Staley is one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time. He captures so much emotion.. To me, Mad Season captures this more than with AIC.

The band includes the vocals of the great Layne Staley, Barrett Martin on drums, Mike McCready - guitar, and John Baker Saunders – bass.

Not sure if it qualifies, but the Raconteurs are solid. And Gov't Mule.

    Of course it does.

It's Jack Whites band away from The White Stripes.

Haven't heard of Gov't Mule. I'll have to look into them.

I haven't heard any of the bands mrpbody mentioned. Which is partially why I created this thread. In hopes of being exposed to bands we haven't heard of.

BTW you may like Brad http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brad_(band)

Strange the link is not going to the Brad page. Try this. Go here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stone_Gossard and then click on "Brad"

Thanks. I'll definitely look into 'Brad' when I get a chance this week.

I've grown to love the entire album. I find I like it more, the more I listen to it.
