Hello, Does anyone on this forum know the colour code (RAL code ?) for the metallic silver exterior parts on a Miura (i.e. wheels & lower side panels) ? Do the body parts and the rims are painted with the same colour ? What is your opinion regarding the colour of the reproduction wheels from Eurospares vs the original specs ? Thanks for your help ! Hmmm. I dont doubt he told you this at all, but I think your guy's got a little convincing to do, dont you agree?
Sills & wheels should start off the same paint/color and fade differently over the decades, wheels being magnesium and sills being aluminum...

that looks like its on a Monaco plate the shield to the left side is the Pricipalitys logo - if that car is here ive never seen it! Now i have zoomed in for sure that is/was registerd here, it would be good to see what year is on the back N° plate as it will have the years it last had its control technique, if it is 2007 or 2008 its been here recently for the rest. All cars here have to have this by law p.s the guys jacket is making my eyes go funny!!

do you know the owner?? i would love to see this car in the flesh. I also would love to detail another! Can you put me in contact with the owner - rest assured 100% confidetiality is involved. Pictures can be sent of last Miura detail if needed
The owner Yves Saguato is not exactly a private figure and is well-known in Monte Carlo, so Im surprised you haven't come across him or his bright green Miura (hard to miss) already! He actually does drive the car around town and it is also seen sitting in the window of the showroom of his business www.emotion-automobiles.com Yves is a vintage racer who races a 70s Formula One Matra, a Lancia Stratos rally car and a Ford GT40. Therefore he has a significant team of people who cater to his cars already and its worth noting that. But Im sure he would love to show you his Miura if you can reach him... .
Thanks for that Joe, i will go & say hello at some point. I have just dug out his address i never knew this existed!! Darren
Hi folks, As some of you know I've finally finished the work on #3171 that started 2 owners & 21 years ago a few weeks back now. I've spent the last few weeks with a polishing cloth or just looking at the beauty & just waiting for the weather gods to show favour. I hope you like the finished article. Did I mention that she's for sale. Next project beckons you know. Bax. I love the "feel" of the photos.... The grab handle is in the 'abandon hope all ye who enter here' position. The open trumpets Im sure provide the 'one hundred thousand howling hounds from hell' sound effect. The Miura is the greatest sports car created for the road, bar none. If I am lucky, I will drive one this weekend...
