Most of the snow is gone in Ottawa, there was a new Jag XKR today and a cobra replica running around the university campus.

    Spotted a nice Z06, and a Black/Black 430 Spyder heading down Islington.

430 sounded great with a very loud exhaust.

    Lucas, so what's the deal?

I finnaly get out my compas, camping gear, GPS, hunting knives, back pack etc and I trek over to this Wegz place in so called Maple. In the 905. I make it inside with my buddy and greated by two hot girls. So I was ok (I thought) They ask me "what are you watching today". I say "F1". She says "oooh...well we are only showing F1 in that corner over there but it's full". I take a look at the F1 area and there was no room for us in that little corner. But I must admit it was a cool setup with great TV's etc. Mind you, the whole premises is about 75000 square feet of bars, tables, chairs, TV's (showing football) etc and it was empty aside from the "F1 area"!!!!!

I am sorry, but that sucked. I was in Stoufville in the Morning and thought it was a great idea to go across Rutherford and hit WEGZ since I was up there. Anyway, I ended up at a College St. pub and watched the last 20 laps on a 20 inch TV with now sound!!!! But I was ok :D

The only nice thing about my adventure "up north" was a beautiful red single-mirror TR and a white Mondial Cab in the Wegz parking lot! And of course the wonderful scenery of trees changing colours! :)

Vasco, I'm glad to hear you made it up to the North country. Did you see any Bobcats or icebergs on your way past Steeles ave? Did you see the guy selling Bear skins and Maple syrup on the corner of Rutherford and Jane st? The traders from Woodbridge canoe down the Humber river into Toronto to sell their commodoties, thats how many families survive up here.

    LOL

BTW, I wasn't at WEGZ today, I had a last minute problem at home to deal with, however I had a half dozen friends that did go.

Explain to me how it sucked.....You can watch the race on a 20 foot screen, with full blast sound while drinking beer and eating wings. The corner wasn't little at all.....there were at least 50 people there from what I heard. Don't forget, Sunday football is still the main attraction at every bar, so they would never put F1 on all the screens. The problem is that its November, and many people don't bother going out in the morning to WEGZ now. If you were to check it out in the summer, you would see a dozen of Fcars, and the place would be packed.

I agree with Vasco. The F1 area was pretty tight. Exciting race though.
Vasco, you should have pulled up another couple seats at my table if I would have known you were coming. I was the guy with the red shirt.LOL.
BTW, that was my single mirror TR. Thanks for the compliment.

Yes, that would have been cool to join you boys. Thanks for the offer. But I had no idea who was who. Glad you guys had a great time. But as I said to the Woodbridge Prince or Don of Vauhgan or whatever he calls himself :D... it would have been good to open up the place a bit more. It's sooo huge and to only use up 10% of the place for F1?! The rest of the place was empty...regardless of Sunday football.

And yes it was good at least seeing your car. Nice and clean :D

And vice versa. Vasco is like Bigfoot, a big legend which few people have seen only in certain parts of the wilderness. :D

I heard there is a tax to enter the city now, (South of Steeles ave.) And then you must pay 10$ for parking, then you must pay Coffee tax, and then a seat transfer tax if you were to watch the race at a bar in Toronto. You can do all of that for free up in my 'Kingdom' of Vaughan.

Met with Beev yesterday (MITYRARE), picked me up, we went for a nice fall drive north of Barrie, around Oro/Horseshoe, great day to be out, good company, nicely tuned car (Thanks GranTurismo for that experience!), and a rare opportunity to experience this machine. We dropped by on a friend in Horseshoe and talked cars, around the F430 Spider in the garage that unfortuntately doesn't get out a whole lot. Paul, help me convince Ed to get that car out....this week???????
