I just bought a QP in Houston and Im looking to insure it but Im having a lot of trouble and getting some very crazy quotes because I dont have a Texas drivers license as Im not a citizen

    there.

Actually I will drive the car less than 3,000 miles a year, as it is my 3rd home and I got quoted by Progressive $3,200 for 6 month coverage which I think is crazy.

Please let me know if someone can help me out as to which company will insure me with a foreign drivers license.

    Thanks

It's very simple to obtain the local licence and much cheaper then paying for "adjusted" insurance.
If you are here legally ,you should have no problems at the DMV....
