Lambo Calabasas---No More???

Isn't Southern California the largest buyers of Lamborghinis in the World?? I have read this multiple times.

I stand corrected. You're right. Owned by Ogara Coach co. If forgot about them. They took it over from Keuylian a few years ago.

 

O'gara is what I meant. Some great people over there and Anthony in service is a stand-up guy.

A few of us passed by LOC today...someone came out, made sure the gate was locked and told us they were closed. Also, security guard stationed across the street.

Isn't there something happening on Robertson? I was someplace with a couple of fchatters today and the subject came back up of Lambo dealers and I get all sorts of hearsay so I thought I'd ask.

 

What about the small store that Lambo OC opened next to Ferrari NB? Is that what you mean by the boutique? Is that store empty also?

Incredible. Since moving from SoCal to cold Colorado we make it a point to visit OC every couple of months. Always take in Cars and Coffee, the Ferrari dealer and the Lambo dealer. Going to be weird not seeing OC Lambo. Hope my dealer in Denver hangs on or I'll be out looking for service on our Gallardo.

Sad. I've heard it's been projected that over the next year (or by the end of the year) 1 in 5 retailers will go out of business. Circuit City is also going under. I'm optimistic we'll see some movement in a positive direction after elections. I hope. Really a shame the Lambo dealership went under.

 

What is happening to the resale market in reference to values of the late model Lamborginis?

 

Drove by there the other day. Sure thing everything was gone. Lambo of BH will have a opening party soon. I'll keep you posted.

 

It has plummeted! I was just offered an 08' LP640 (yellow/black, all options, $404,000 MSRP, delivery miles) for $300,000. Brand new, and already down approximately 25%.

I saw an 04 Gallardo coupe with 5K miles for $89K. It is a crazy market out there. But good for us buyers.

 

According to Automotive News, over 600 new car dealers have closed nationwide since the first of the year with many more still to fall.

 

Where did you see that? I curently have my feelers out but did not come across that one. Thanks for a reply.
