Not to worry, Ronald will spend the next 5 months until the 09 season starts telling us that the WDC is irrelevant, Ferrari doesn't care about it, and that Ferrari won the only race that matters, the WCC.

Except Massas tears, the pit celebration when they thought they won, the utter dejection when they realized they lost, and the fact that only the WDC was mentioned in the press briefing tells the true story - the WDC is the only one that matters to everyone other than team bosses.

Yes, he's a nice guy and a fine ambassador for the sport and for his team. Good luck to him in the future.

It's time to start serving some crow for this year's predictions...

I'm first in line for predicting a Kimi WDC.

Felipe Massa showed he's a great sportsman. I still can't understand what really happened to Glock?!?! I want to see how cocky Hamilton will get after he became a WDC, but if he watches Massa's interview he will not big such a big mouth anymore. Next year promises...Alonso, Massa, Hamilton, Kimi, Kova, Kubica! A lot of good drivers.

Heck of a pass by Vettel.

Look at it this way: We have *two* WDCs:

Massa crossed the finish line as WDC. (Ham was in 6th)

Hamilton then crossed the finish line as WDC, too (in 5th).

(I think Lewis owes Glock a new Mercedes. ;))

Out of the 18 cars running at the end, 16 had made more then 2 pit stops. The two that didn't were Toyota.
The last lap of Glock/Truli were the same. This was nothing more then a roll of the dice on Toyota's part that played into LH's hand. If Toyota had brought Glock in with 5 left like everyone else, this would all be a mute point. Glock is a great driver and did nothing wrong.

Congrats to LH, a great Champion.

Congratulations Ferrari - Constructors champions again. Worthy winners.

Well done LH. Nailed WDC in the end. Party on.

FM - what a year. Turned most of us FM bashers into supporters. Worthy winner today, and did all he could.

To all you of you ranting about Glock - please grow up. If you look at the lap charts, you will see that his last lap was faster than his team mate (Trulli) who was also on slicks.

Roll on 2009! Should be a great show!

    Congrats for Lewis.

Massa is a real man. He was very gracious in defeat.

    Forza Ferrari.

First off, congrats to Lewis, he's not my favorite, but he has proven to be a great driver... Congrats to Massa, another great driver who deserves to be WDC some day. And what the F happened to Glock, was Vettel that close that he had to overdrive the last freakin corner???? I thought that was interesting that Kimi said that the team told him not to try and pass Alonso, becuase if he did and took him and/or Alonso out, Lewis would then be given the championship, turns out that he should have tried it....

Whether you like the result or not, this season has, IMO, been one of the best seasons in a while, 3 first time winners, accidents, incidents and just some great driving and great action, I hope it continues to next season!
