I was literally on the edge of my seat as the final laps closed down, specially when Vettel was on Hamilton's heels. Once Vettel Passed Hambone, I was so excited, last lap, Massa in 1st, until Glock just moved out of the way for no reason. No reason he should have done that move, it's the LAST lap, you're literally at the finish line.

Oh well, great performance by Massa, Alonso, Raikkonen, AND Vettel! F1 2009, here we come.

FORZA HONDA! ;) (I really do hope Barichello stays with Honda, or at least still stays in F1 for another season)

Congrats to Massa and too bad that Hamilton got the win by people giving up their positions. In my mind Massa won the championship just like the race. Hamilton isn't worthy yet, at least not of this championship.

Just kidding about Glock -- the Toyota drivers did well to keep those cars under control at all on primes in the rain.

    But notice something:

    It rained.

    Massa didn't spin.

Can we put the "massa sucks in the wet" bumper stickers away, now?

What a great last couple of laps, great race and a real heartbreaker for Massa. I hope Andreas your right about your prediction about Kimi being back in 2009.

I think once the dust settles 2009 will be similar to 2008 with Hami, Massa and Kimi gunning for the title. Maybe the Renault will be good for it too by then. Sounds like another great season waiting for us.

Dry tyres on a wet track getting worse by the 2nd.

Glocks last lap fell to a 1.44, as did Trullis! both Toyotas, both on dry tyres. Toyota went ona whim to keep them out, didnt work, if they had brought them in for wets like everyone else, Glock wouldnt even have been in that position anyway.

what a shame Massa was winner for some time and then we came to know about the glock story

i don't know what to say - so heart breakingf for Massa and his family celebrating ..........

and then realizing its once again over

anyway life goes on - and Massa is a true champ he has proven today - even in rainy conditions

but he is just not the WDC - congrats Lewis and his family and fans - he deserves what he has achieved

    congrats FERRARI for the WCC

I hope Massa does it once again in 2009 and actually win the WDC then

congrats to LH Wish Glock could have held on for a split second more but thats racing.. Next year we will see a different story.. I think Vettle has proven a better driver then LH .. Put him in a MC or ferrari and we will eat LH.. I think we witnessed this year some great races, and some really bad ones.. But I do think we have seen the new cream of the crop and it's not LH !!

You're wrong about one thing. Put him in a MC ang LH will destroy him. Ron will see to that. But i agree vettel is a far better driver than the vodafone fairy

 I believe Glock gave up his position to Hamilton without a fight and Ferrari GOT screwed! I don't like Glock's chances to go to the red team anytime in his career in F1. Just my two cents! :(

We should start a thread called "GLOCK SUCKS"

It was a gamble and a miracle he stayed on dries so long without going off. No conspiracy.

It'd be interesting to see telemetry data from the Toyota for the final laps of the race, I bet he had wheel spin all over the track.

I've been thinking this for a while now. Too bad he's probably iron-clad contracted to Red Bull for the foreseeable future and the Red Bull car is unlikely to be competitive any time soon.
