In the end Massa is the ture WDC, he went out there and gave it his all. He qualified 1st and stayed there through out the whole race as well.

Hamilton on the other hand just said screw it and was so lazy the entire race to even try for anything better than 5th. Hell the guy started 4th for Christ Sakes and he fell a spot back. WTF?

That's the difference between a team player MASSA and someone who is in it for himself HAMILTON.

    Nonsense.

In reality the title was decided in Shanghai if it hadn't been for the unjust manipulations by the FIA gifting Massa 9 points.

How people can forget that is beyond me.

    Today's outcome was poetic justice.

Breaking News over the AP, Toyota will be replacing F1 Driver Timo Glock for Hekki Kovalinen for the 2009 Championship, Glock will be taking Kovalinen's place at McLaren immediately. German Manufacturer Mercedes Benz feels it will be a good fit to have a German Driver at the Anglo-German Team.

As Bernie Eccelstone said in 1994 after the Australian GP, the Right Driver won the WDC and the Right Team won the WCC.

Fact: The decision in Spa was based on personal opinions of the stewards. Not measured by a machine or anything. Subjective, not objective.

Celebrating too early was karma for cheering when Massa punted Hamilton off in Japan...

    Congrats to Lewis and MacLaren!

I didn't forget one bit about that nor am I a fan of the FIA's ruling by any means..........but if you are going to make history and fame do it with a little bit of passion or at least try to fake it. This guy just YAWNED his way through it.

Proof once again that Lewis Hamilton, as predicted months ago, on this website, would throw away the championship. He truley is a complete as*hole, who just got lucky, and didn't learn a damn thing since last season. Vettle took it to the little Brat, and was pulling away with ease. The gift from Glock and the weather covered up for what would've been one of the greatest racing blunders in history, by a medium talent driver in a superior car. I hope Lewis enjoys the deserved asterisk next to his name, as he bocomes the next Damon Hill, flash in the pan champion.

That was one of the worst decisions in this sport since when they banned MS for 3 races for overtaking Damon Hill on the Parade Lap and later disqualifying him from SPA in order to make the championship go to the wire. I thought Balestre was bad, but Mosley is over the Top.

The referees decisions are allways personal opinions, subjective.

Depends on what you look for in your race winner. Personally I'm turned off by Massa's exuberance (as I was by Schumacher's) and prefer the quiet guys like Kimi, who rarely crack a smile. Different strokes for different folks.

If this is true... then I just knew that something was in the works between Glock and McLaren. THIS IS JUST CRAP! Massa is the TRUE Driver's Champion here.

Exactly. And as in Soccer, the refs/stewards can get it wrong. They did so in Spa based on pretty much anybody who knows the sport and discussed that decision (not just fans like us, but race drivers etc).

PS: I'm still unhappy about "God's hand" by Maradonna. Another case of where the refs got it wrong.

I respect your opinion, but i know the sport very well, and for me the decision was correct. Who had played the Maradona role at Spa?Kimi?

By the way, will someone tell that little prick to leave his classless bimbo of a girlfriend at home, after all this is motor racing not a fashion show. Who the hell goes to the pits looking like that, in a Ferrari red dress none the less. Those two fakes are made for eachother. I can hear the pillow talk now.."you're the best driver ever Lew", "Yea honey and you sing good too"

I really felt for massa at the end of the race.

Again lewis got touched by the luck fairy....the ******** last corner:(

Glock, well what can i say. I can still remember him saying he was going to pay lewis back. today was his chance and what does he do? opens the door, lays out the red carpet and bows down to hambone. I wish payback was always like that:(.

(not saying that he should have pushed hambone off the track!)

Congratulations to hambone, better luck next time Ferrari:(

+1 I totally agree. The damm camera guy kept on showing her which IMO... she's now history as Hamilton's head just got a size bigger.
