He is the newly crowned F1 racingdriver, with many titles ahead. Makes millions of dollars a year and shares a bed with a *****catdoll. He isn't doing anything wrong, is he?

No disrespect but that was one of the worst comments I've read today. Massa did his best, imagine if his engine was as reliable as McLaren's during this season? Who would've win the WDC? He was just not as lucky as Hamilton was.

Speculation has it that he will now become the first driver to top 100 million per season.

    BTW: Nicole Scherzinger rocks!

No argument there. During the day, winning the F1 title, during the night... well... let's say Lewis has got it made GOOD!

Wow, sorry, but that's just plain dumb.

+1. Let's remind everyone here that Hamilton won the championship basically by a fluke. Massa won the race and if it wasn't for the Glock-inspired snafu at the back, Hamilton would have been in sixth or beyond I believe. And EVEN if Hammy had taken the race out and out (which, again, he did not), Massa would have still driven a good season, and would still be (which he is) 2nd in the WDC, and just by a little. There is nothing to sneer at here...

Ridiculous... I can't stand all these arm-chair racers who have gone out of their way here to trash the guy... And on FERRARI chat no less.

What a prat... Massa has been nothing but dignified throught the season and never put himself above any of the other drivers unlike Hamilton and his attitude. How any idiot can gloat at his painful emotions is beyond me. Get a life you d**k

In '94, maybe, but '08 was the year of the wrong winners.

With all the blunders they pulled during the year, Ferrari really didn't deserve the WCC. The McLaren *team* did a far better job -- they just came up a bit short in the drivers department.

Massa has improved hugely, and used most all of it to bid for the WDC. Hamilton is gifted, and was supported better in the pits, but he still has a lot to learn. I expect Hamilton could win lots of championships in the future, if his head doesn't get too big for his helmet. Winning this early isn't going to help -- not with his local press telling him that every on-track error was just a grand conspiracy against the brits.

I'd have preferred to see Massa win this one, and leave Hamilton to mature a bit and become the driver he could be.

Yeah, I think the season ended as it should have. That was the longest last 2 laps though.

Mercedes just did a better team job overall. More consistency, and Lewis deserved (even though I don't care for him).

If they kept Heiki heavy all season, their favoring of Lewis may have cost them a dual championship and that serves them right.

    Forza Ferrari WCC 2008.

And how could that be true when 75% of F1 teams and cars are run and built by the British? Conspiracy against lewis maybe but not "the Brits".

I was wondering where you are:rolleyes:.

Pathetic really, Massa drove absolutely brilliant today, didnt put a foot wrong. Lewis messed up, and in the last lap was touched by the magic fairy of luck, once again.

Yes, hambone is a fantastic driver but today, he didnt hold it together and messed up. Massa did the opposite, when it truelly mattered he hold it together, didnt set a foot wrong and just won.

Today, massa should have been the champion.
