Blackberry "instant message" question...

When you recieve an IM, can the person from whom it was sent tell whether you've opened it or not?

This is all next to the check mark on BBM or Pin

D- means delivered but not read
R- means delivered AND read
Italics- has no service or on the phone

Well, she's an expert...

(Not that I'd lie, I can just not open it )

 

One thing I do so people dont know is I will look at it from the main message menu and read it from there. The second you click on the chat it shows read. anothe roption isopen a new window without opening that chat and you can read it from a new conversation page with someone else, it will scroll on the bottom.
