Not a Ferrari but at least this guy seems honest in his reasons for selling....
Hehe! Dont see that too often! Yeah, agree!! Nicole wants one and she has been looking at A LOT of them, even though she is 2 years away from buying one. There are heaps for sale at any given time, so it is always a buyers market with those Porkers.
My my, times getting tough perhaps?? This 308 GTB glass car is down to $92K! Was originally $110K over 6 months ago, then dropped down to $102K the last few months and is now $92K. Its a gorgeous car!! I love it. Should I make an offer of $82K? http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/FERRARI/308/Victoria/csn5470654.aspx
This yellow Testarossa with TR wheels looks GREAT!! http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/FERRARI/TESTAROSSA/New%20South%20Wales/csn6423553.aspx
This still $220k - http://aussieexotics.com/forum/ferraris-for-sale/ferrari-308-gtb-220k-t1784.0.html
Yes, I remember that one! Beautiful car also, but I wouldnt pay $220K for it. I dont love them THAT much! But this one I would pay $92K for it.
Why? Because it *was* $110k? My ex-gf - bless her cute little cotton socks - was a "bargain b*tch" when it came to jewellery, she'd drag me around middle-class joints pointing out stuff that was $200 and now "only $39.95" nudge-nudge. I asked her flat out and unequivocally (something like this) - if she walked into one of these shops and saw a trinket listed for $80 which had $800 crossed out above it would she buy it on that basis, she immediately answered "of course! I'd be crazy not to!!" I then ran the following scenario by her... If I owned a jewellery shop full of crappy Sportsgirl $5 crappy trinkets, but priced them at $300 would she buy them? She said "no that's crazy!", then I asked what if I put my prices down to $50 for one day only? "yeah - I'd be all over them, what a bargain!". :/ She was cute and funny - and sadly smarter than most of her friends.
This 360CS still gives me a hard on! Does anyone know of anyone that will finance me $375K for this Stradale? http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/FERRARI/360/New%20South%20Wales/csn6321653.aspx
Nice, but you can have a 355C and that Fibreglass dry sump GTB and a nice GT4 and change for the same money. M
No, because I can afford $92K...........but I cant afford $220K! Simple as that my friend! Dont worry man, I was eye balling the car when it was $110K months and months ago. Thought to myself that I dont really want to finance the entire amount of $110K for that OHOS, so I wasnt too serious about it. Then it dropped to $102K months later, the whole time I have been putting 'extra' money away for a possible Ferrari/swimming pool/4 car garage purchase. Now it is down to $92K and the bank account is still growing NICELY. Perhaps I shall wait another 6 months and buy the car cash and offer him $80K if its still there in 6 months time. See what happens......
You selling your 355CH by any chance? And yes, I would rather own the 3 cars you mentioned rather than that Stradale.
No plans to sell the 355C but like anything if I there was an offer that I couldnt refuse - well money talks as the say . In any case, the previous owner has made noises about regretting selling it and asked I give him first right of refusal in case of a sale. Really, the problem would be what to replace it with ? there is nothing around in a similar price bracket that I would rather have. M
I have a blank cheque made out to WRXMIKE...... That is very nice of you Mike! Yeah, I reckon you are right! Perhaps a nice 360, but thats about it.
Nope, not *yet* Offer $75k, let them know your cash in hand, maybe they will come back at $82k...... Looks great in yellow with those rims but the fog lights look like they might be fill of water? General condition looks average. $$ is way high ?? HAHA!
Nah, I am not interested anymore or am going to show interest in it anymore until I have the CASH ready to buy it, because I dont want to be called a "gunna" by the biggest wanker on FerrariChat! Yeah, the car looks great in yellow, but the interior and engine bay pics look average. So I dont know what it is *really* like, and for $180K........I DO NOT want to know what it is really like!
Mate, part of the fun is looking around. I used to spend hours at our Auckland Ferrari dealership, "just looking" prior to owning a Ferrari. I still spend hours there "just looking". I look around on the net at cars for sale all the time, i'm interested in whats available. Maybe i'm gunna............. But maybe i'm not
yeah of course it is. gunna is just a running joke now. it started when some showing off joker came on here and said he was going to buy and enzo, then later an F40, then later a zonda. he didn't like it when i told him to just STFU and talk about it AFTER he buys it. i don't think he ever got over it. needless to say, he still hasn't bought any of those cars (or rented them) probably a smart move...he'd have stuck it into a wall by now....but no one would have laughed. i crack me up.
LOL, I sort of figured it was a running joke, sounds like this chap has large dreams, lets hope he takes some driving courses prior to buying these nice toys. Maybe he will find one abandoned in an airport somewhere, then become a broker..... Now, go buy your own!
Dont worry, this chap has the dreams and more importantly the 'means' to get what he wants! Whether it be an Enzo, F40 or whatever! Probably only a matter of time, he is still a young chap after all.
