Looks better in the darker colours than the lighter colours IMO.

I dont think I would like the look of a yellow California.

This is the first car ferrari has made that I actually don't think is beautiful.. yep ferrari has finally done it.. every other car they have made (and I mean even the 456) is special or beautiful in some way..

but not this one..

So depressing.. I can stare at the 360 modena for ages, it's timeless beauty and incredible design is what helped me PAY MORE for an older slower over getting the Gallardo.. That says something.. the fact that a car that is older.. slower and less advanced AND more expensive was purchased.. because the 360 commands you to do it.. the marque.. the looks and the concept were all incredible.. it was MORE than a car.. (the gallardo while awesome felt like more of a "cool car" to me) The california to me.. says "ok car" nothing more.

Man i keep looking at photos in an attempt to like this car but I find that I end up liking it bcause its a Ferrari. If it said Nissan on it I wouldnt give it a second look. I have come to terms with the reason why. Consider what we own? 360/430 guys ar not the target market for this car. We are not the target demographic. IMO, its also not the 599 buyer. I think this car is in for mediocre sales becasue its slips through the demographic cracks. Who knows, maybe I am wrong and it creates a new one.

I agree i think the 360 still looks great. If only one could get a 360 witha 430 interior and improved technology.

Btw,California does look like it is designed for fat girls(most of them are here in US)...

rush job for pent up demand worldwide.
Looks too much like a 599. I'm sure it'll
look nice in person, but I was expecting
more from the name California looks wise.
Performance wise it's great.
Although I just saw a video w/Marc Gene
driving one on another post, looks like it may
grow on me.
