My 2.5 car, one Ferrari sanctuary. Heated, insulated, kickass stereo, beer fridge and all of the tools I need to keep everything running properly and yes I do work in the shop every night. Can't fit my Toyota FJ Cruiser and Jeep TJ Wrangler inside when the Ferrari is staking out it's turf.

The old bike in the background is a 1977 Kz 650 Custom that I brought back from the dead with a frame-up resto. Now has an 810 big-bore, racing cams, bigger valves, tricked out head, Mikuni smoothbore carbs, racing clutch, electronic ignition, geared for stoplight squirts. Looks bone stock but will surprise most modern sport bikes if I catch them napping.

    Thanks.

The floor is stamped and colored concrete that is about 4 inches thick. The concrete decorative process is from Increte Systems of Florida. My friend/customer has the distribution for our area and he did the pattern as a demo to show some of his customers. I put a high gloss sealant on the floor every spring and it wears fairly well until the winter salt from my wife's van gets to it.

I would be remiss (and have to apologize to my 14 year old son) for not mentioning my tool pegboard hanging on the wall. It is a galvanized sheet of metal that my young son and I marked and drilled 2300 holes in over one weekend (trust me we measured the grid while burning out 6 or 7 carbide tip drill bits.) The little soap box racer hanging on the wall was put together by my son and a friend of mine who is confined to a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy. He likes to come over to my shop and hang around with my son and I while we are tinkering with my toys.

My bride says that I am like a big old trout as I go for shiny red/silver things:)

I just saw this pic in the Wall Street Journal today. It's the storage garage for VW's. It's not a private garage, but it's still pretty amazing.

Wow +1. That's a cool garage. I think in Seattle a company is putting a small version of that under a new condo project this year. That's cool but 20 stories in residential area your neighbors might complain
