I would avoid the remanufacturered/refurbished ones. With the failure rate of the 360's, you will at least get a good warranty with a new one.

Refurbished units have all new guts.

You're essentially getting a new one.

 

I had a brand new one that failed about 2 weeks into playing. I sent it back had it redone, and never failed again. I would never shy away, just because it is a referb. If the price is good go for it.
