Clean car? Garage Queen? Been there, bought a 300 mile car in 2000. spent 12K on new tires and gasguests, tubes. Now I've spent $25K for ECUS, Tires, Turbos at Ferrari Dealer. If the market is at $750K for a 1990 F40, what would a car that won all fca awards and cavallino awards?

The market is not $750k for a 1990 F40. The RM sale was almost 3 months ago, since when a lot has happened to markets worldwide.

I have sold 1 cars in the last 30 days, and am aware of 2 other transactions. In order to be of assistance to your cause, and that of others, I will not post the numbers here, but will be happy to confirm privately...

This decline in value is not limited to the F40. It is across the board. Anyone tells you different, it's because they "got one" to peddle. "NO SALE" at auctions proves nothing-"SOLD" does.

If you're willing to share the info privately, why not publicly? Is it a big secret what specific cars are selling for these days? Any time I buy a car, I have no shame in telling people what I paid for it. If someone is ashamed of what they paid for a car, then they probably paid the wrong price. :)

Was this the car that they had at Bentley of Silicon Valley? If so I checked that car out over the summer.

    Joe sackey,

Give me your best guess on the high end Ferrari market. F50. 275 and F40 seem to keep their values. I''m about to close a deal on 86056 this week at $700K+. Roland Linder concurs.
Give me a headsup at [email protected] if you think that the market has crashed. The second bidder at RMA is ready to go. The Cream rises to the top.

I dont think the market has crashed. In fact, Ive never said "the market has crashed". Ever.

I do however think it has adjusted. Ive said that numerous times.

If you can get "$700k+" for your F40, thats great, and I would advise you to close the deal. Quickly.
