Forgotten ...ex Richard Vollenweider ! Picture taken during Swiss Club "Incontro d'estate 2007" in Torino. Ciao Andrea
All.. I find it interesting in two of the 3 European pictures posted of Ghibli's, that they show round and rectangular lights behind the grill... What is this all about? Personally, I think they detract from the car, but they may be functional... Surely they are not factory? Mike D.
Mike, they are aftermarket! The owners found the standart light not good enough in todays traffic conditions at night! Ciao! Walter
Mike: What Walter answered is right and I would add that in Europe as you know being partly German, that in Europe you can and we do drive much faster and that therefore to be able to flash your headlights during the day to warn traffic ahead of your high(er) speed arrival the lift up headlights are no good so it is common to fit additional headlights to help with that as well as at night of course: this had always been done on various Maserati models by owners. The smart thing to do is to put them bhind the grille gives it a tidier look, as long as radiator air flow is not measurably impeded. Best regards, Marc
Here are trhee pictures of italian Ghibli taken during this weekend . Both cars are of 1969 Ciao Andrea Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

1934, a very nice car low miles bought by Hillary Raab, long time Ferrari historian, at Cavallino Classic, this year, we went out into the Everglades to photograph it right after: here is a sneak shot. I like the color: like all unusual colors! best regards, Marc
Actual photos...I hope: lately I have been having some trouble posting them... No: still no good: this is what appears: "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error." I did nothing different...
I had a chance to talk with the owner briefly at the show, he was speaking with another guy so perhaps we met as well? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=137968256&postcount=260

Does anybody have a picture of a Ghibli in Bleu Pervinca? That is the original color of my uncle's SS and we were wondering what it looked like. Thanks!
It's a blue with a touch of purple . Pervinca is a blue flower (translation = periwinkle) Very nice on a Ghibli . These are two examples (the car is an Alfa Romeo but the colour is the same): Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Bryanp... you saw "this" in Maryland??? Hey - in the Ferrari-section you always talk about VIN`s - why not about a car from Modena that exist only in 125 examples??? This "this" doesn`t make any sense here! Anyway , thanks for posting....! Ciao! Walter
you got me Walter - I am truly busted. I am friends w/ the owner of the establishment where I saw that beauty (better than "this"?). I will try to get the s/n!! Bryan 0556(0446)MD 11199GT
I thought you knew all Ghibli Spiders in the world Walter? It's only 125. I think 16 has been in Sweden with a swedish owner. This is 1255. Magnus Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mille grazie, Andrea! I thought it would be darker, but I can imagine a Ghbili looking good in that color. (The interior was white by the way)
Perhaps this one. http://www.fotosdecarros.com/galeriavieja/fotos/Maserati/Maserati+Ghibli+4_9+SS+spyder+by+Ghia+1971+f3q.JPG.html Magnus
