sure thing justin, anytime ur free ... i'm pretty easy ...

actually i quit shooting after my surgery ... can't really continue with just one hand ... but no worries bro ...

did consider swapping ... but was seriously tempted more toward a 997 GT2 ... but then the s*** hit the fan ... cannot drive a manual no more ... at least for the time being ...

gimme a bell whenever ur free justin, & let's meet for coffee ...

    cheers

not defensive lah. GTR pricing all rubbish due to wide omv spread from 65k to 110k....so retail sale price all over the place. one of my staff just bought brand new at 268k after rebates. Tan chong claim to have already got 10 bookings at over 300k. reality is when you buy brand new....just expect to take the big initial hit. some can/will/need to live with it, others cannot swallow it....just need to do ones sums and trade that position. even till this day, after owning the GTR for over 0.5 year, i am still amazed at how easy and forgiving the car is, relative to the performance and price(250-350k for brand new). to be frank, i rate this car higher than my 430 spydie...but comparison not quite right given 4wd vs rwd, 4 seat coupe vs 2 seat cabriolet, price etc etc. the 430 thug at my heart, the GTR thug at my brain, the bently GT just thug at my pockets!!!!

dun say semi malaysian lah....think semi singaporean. just come for the drive. actually, may not even organize a drive this weekend...may be up in KL fri-sat. will sms you closer to weekend. u in town till when?

Dude, can always do a morning drive, makan then off to KL ;)

Speaking of the price variation. The GTR is very expensive in KL, saw em advertised for RM668000! With that $, I can buy a 1300Sqft FH apt in the city area.

The problem with these PIs is such that eg. if a buyer sees the car for $300K & OMV of $100K then the next @ $250K but OMV of $80K & then $200K, OMV of $60K which would u choose? I would buy the $200K car cos I save $100K & lose about the same, maybe a little more @ the end of the day but it'll be easy to re-sell later.

agree on the low omv thing. better still if PI kena caught under-declare, then have to pay additional taxes, and you get a bump up on parf rebate.
