I really liked Force India, but now they've moved to the Dark Side so I guess I'll have to find another underdog team!

I hope they become competitive as STR and Red Bull did this year, but it's doubtful. Just because they'll have Mercedes engines and Mclaren gearboxes doesn't mean the cars will run like the Mclarens.

    ^ what he said.

it pretty much depends on the chassis, the aeros, etc. look at STR, in a Ferrari engine, doing so well. because they're using an Adrian Newey designed chassis.

Maybe a little closer to mid-pack but they still lack the engineering strength to run in the points, at least consistently.

They were the only team to not score points this season. In fact they were the only team to not get a podium finish. If they manage to find a couple of tenths a lap they will be up there with the rest. I can't remember a time when the worst F1 team was so close in performance to the best. We're getting to the stage where the driver is nearly as important as the car and I think it's great!

    They have quite lofty ambitions:
Does this mean they will be expecting help from the Force India team on track?

With Gascoyne gone, they stand a good chance to score a couple of points.

In fact despite them going to the dark side, I wish them lots of success because I'd like to see a passion for F1 ignite in India: 2011 we will have the GP of New Delhi and it'd be a shame if the spectators were as uninterested as e.g. the Chinese.

They would have likely scored points at Monaco if it hadn't been for an errant mistake on the part of one of our guys! It was an exciting race (as far as Monaco is concerned) and it would have been nice to see Sutil finish in the top five.

Not true: Sutil got so far forward because he cheated (I believe he past cars under yellow). Had he not been eliminated, the FIA would have given him a 30 second penalty, which would have ruined any chance for points.

Are we talking about Monaco here? It was raining and he was running fourth when Kimi rear ended him. I'm not sure you're referring to the same race??

We are talking about the same race. The reason for him running 4th was passing under yellow. He would have gotten a penalty. Something that went completely undetected by our speed commentators, but the Euro press was full of it.

Kimi hit him on orders of the stewards :).
