    Picked up an E55 a couple weeks ago to replace my trusty '99 e36 M3 (silver/black coupe) daily driver. I'll be putting an ad in these and other classifieds but thought I'd put a post on here to see if anyone local knows of anyone who might be interested in one. It was one of the very last e36 ('95-'99) M3s.

    Great as a daily driver or track car...very solid and reliable and I've spared no expense in maintaining it mechanically and aesthetically for years. Has many upgrades (xenons, coilovers, swaybars, intake, exhaust, software, short shift kit, upgraded stereo with Sirius and iPod, etc.) but retains a stock appearance.     With a new baby to be arriving in the next couple of weeks, I was going to start looking in the summer. An E36 M3 was on my list.

    WOW 11,5??? before i bought my s2000 i was looking at e36 m3's and the 98/99 models were still 18-21k! beautiful car!

    Damn right. I've probably had 10 cars come and go since I picked up this M3 used 5 years ago and this one just always stuck around. Had all 3 generations of the M3 simultaneously for a year or two and the e36 was the right one to keep. Pretty versatile car and incredibly cheap these days unfortunately...26 mpg, 0-60 in mid-5, and I believe it was in 1997 that one of the main car mags said it was the "best handling car at any price". Great daily driver or track car...can't beat that!

    Like I said...if you were offering the car 6-7 months from now, I would have already handed you $$. Once again...dammit! Right car, wrong time.

    Any way I can convince you to hold it till summer?

    Marc if I hadn't of quit my job I would seriously be interested in that M3.

    Yeah, if the price was at around 7grand (all I can probably afford) during the summer, I would try to pick it up. But no way you would reduce it that much since it's so clean.

    Marc...#2 will be here in a week or so, so the timing right now is not the best for me. Otherwise, I'd have a check to you last week. Compared to other M3s on the market, yours is the best looking at the best price. I'm sincerely no one else on here has snatched it up already!
