Uro will tell us for sure.
Meanwhile I wonder if I should just fly down to Southern Italy and visit Antonio in Altamura in Basilicata............

CNN breaking news Marcel Massini reported missing: he was last seen in Corleone Sicily asking directions for a private garage:)

You of all places should know that Altamura in Basilicata is NOT in Sicily.
    Ciao

Classic misinformation. The plot thickens. Anyone have the movie rights to this saga yet?

I've met Mr Massini - he can well take care of himself.

That does not paint a pretty picture. If I was a bettin' man, I'd bet that Marcel will get to the bottom of this.

Solo un scherzo just a bit of mirth.

I was referring to a certain infamous village knowing full well it is not in Basilicata: my six months in Modena did have some use...

Since this is somewhat of a circus I had put my clown nose on: no offense to you and of course none to Andales either: my clown nose is now on Ebay, chassis number kept confidential;-)

I hope your trip has a happy conclusion!

I don't mean to be alarmist...

If you do go, please be careful as this all seems very fishy... You never know what can happen in Southern Italy... Especially when someone knows you have the means to purchase such a car...

    Best.

<sidestepping/segway> Threads like this, make for some of the most interesting reading. Not as good as some of the barn find items, but very interesting anyway.

I was wondering IF, there could be a seperate category, locked down threads [?] where these can always be found. Getting more difficult to find some of the older ones. I dunno' POWNED for a cat. comes to mind.
    <sorry for sidestep>

last stab: the question was never asked, so I will. Classicdriver site, would they ever allow such a listing normally?

(At the risk of repeating myself ....) if they'll allow a fraudulently mis-representative advert such as this:

    http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/find/4100_results.asp?lCarID=1768617

.... Then I guess pretty much anything goes - as long as the vendor pays the listing fee.

Horror of horrors. Poor and superrare 330 GTS that had to serve as donor car. A shame.

No, No, No .... Marcel. This is NOT based on a 330GTS (except on the 'paperwork' of s/n 9699). Remember ? ;)

Classic Driver is a quality site IMO, on the advertising side I think they should only be a bit more severe on which cars to allow and which not. If it were me there was no room for recreations or replicas etc. For what is concerning the Europa ad I don't see a problem.
EDIT : Recr yes, repl no

dear massini, please send me your private email and will say you why i'm not selling the car to you...you are doing something that i think to be illegal, like use alias to buy something and go to tracking back my id address.

Please stop this story on this chat if you will buy the car a day.
    i'm bored about this story
    if you are serious ............
