One of my clients is in Rome, is ready to buy and has sent a message as well. No response. I believe this is someone interested in stirring the Ferrari world's pot. Anyone interested in top dollar (and granted, perhaps this guy isn't) would entertain interest and keep cordial relations with as wide a market as possible. Since he clearly isn't, I'd venture this is:

    a) A faker out for attention.

    b) A fraudulent sale. Keeping a name, serial number and photos out of Google's sight is a great way to sell a car that isn't yours.

    Antonio
M Y private email has been listed in THIS thread more than once. Just start reading and you will find it.
You NEVER replied to me so far, nor did you reply to others. AGAIN: WHERE can I meet you?
You didn't respond to more than four emails from very serious people, including Mr. Thomas Shaughnessy's, another esteemed and highly qualified member of this forum.
In the meantime you list the car as "sold"..............but then you say that I may have the second chance........Contradictions.........
Serious search and tracking has revealed that you and/or your office equipment live in or around Altamura in Basilicata (Southern Italy). Therefore, WHERE do you want me to visit you and see the car? Does the car actually exist or not? If it exists, is it actually for sale or not? What is the NEAREST airport I should fly to? Please advise, thanks.

    Dear all,

the more we respond the more fun our poseur/faker/fraud/14yr old boy has. Antonio is probably the same as our fraud seller 3500 gt and in need of attention (and probably professional help).
This thread might also be completely removed to save precious time of serious people.
    ciao

    LOL

    Marcel.

I can see where you're coming from, 2 mentions of an unknown car in 2 weeks, where there is smoke, there is fire.

Maybe we should approach this whole thing from a different angle, and rather than bother with someone with an infantile attitude like antonio, who keeps on assuring you that the car exists (I'm sure it does, but it is not his to sell?) first determine which chassis numbers could be the sunject of this matter and take it from there. There seems to be some more info floating around beneath the surface of the forum (kare?) and a long ownership makes things a little easier.

    dear massini

as is aid more than one time, next week some people are coming to inspect the car.
so, i cannot say you to come, because they are prior than you
when they will decide to do not buy the car, for any questions, then you will be the first to ocntact to buy the car...but i asked to stop to write in this chat.
that Serious search and tracking, you talk , i think to be illegal to do as use alias to buy any item.

For last time, the car really exist and next week a person, that did not wast time on chat like this, are coming to see the car.
    Regards

    Antonio:
    1. Serious search and tracking is not illegal at all. Not in Italy, and not in Switzerland where I live, nor in other countries. I think you completely underestimate the situation here. You appear to be living in the region of Altamura in Basilicata. Do you want me to fly to Bari, or is Brindisi better? Neither Potenza nor Taranto seem to have proper airports. How about Lecce?
    2. I did not use an alias name. Whatever you think.
    3. I can write in this or other chats whatever I like, as long as I behave properly and follow the rules given by the owners of the website. WHO are you to tell me to stop writing in this chat?
    4. Antonio, for you, it is Mr Massini, not Massini.

Once again, you have still NOT replied to any of the questions asked.

Ah lawyers, especially from Italy....That scares me off. Come and sue me, that would be fun!

But if your knowledge of cars stretsch this far than good luck with specific questions like what brand I am dealing with.

    Lesson 1:
The Ferrari is a car brand from Italy and the founder was Enzo Ferrari,
Maserati is a little older brand and founded by the 3 brothers Maserati, and for your information also origins from Italy.
Next lessons will be about chassis numbers and what they can tell. But we start with Ferrari, one step at the time.

    ciao (good buy)

In one of the earlier communications you mentioned a deposit of 30 percent. With a price of Euro 700'000 this would be Euro 210'000. In similar deals in the past, deposits/down payments used to be 5 or 10 percent but 30 percent is also ok and no problem at all. It can be assumed that you want the deposit in cash in large bills, preferably in a bag. Again, no problem at all. There is just one last question unanswered: Paper or Plastic ?
    (for the bag)

No it's a tractor manufacturer: I know I saw a chap selling "those" Ferrari hats at...the San Marino Grand Prix in 1999 and he was just very bold and brazen about fooling the public there, a common trait apparently.

Seems that you are a MAJOR car dealer, right?
Here's one of the other cars you are currently offering:

    http://www.rallystorici.it/mercatino_ricambi.html

    "Fiat Ritmo Abarth
    [email protected] - +393476254628"

And how about the Fiat 1100 Vignale and the Alfa Romeo Sprint Veloce?
And what happened with your Miura search last year?
And did you ever find those missing chassis numbers of the Lancia Delta S4s and 037s?
I assume that in the meantime you have sold that 1974 Cadillac Eldorado and the Mercedes 350 SLC, right?
And what is the situation with the Fiat Dino Spider and Coupé?

    I am SERIOUSLY impressed, really.
