    i'm looking at picking up a 1996 with 20k miles for a daily. black on black with sports seat. $100k msrp car. verrrry clean. what's the current market like on these things ?

    Pretty strong. Wide body 993's are pretty sought after.

    the end story was that i agreed to buy the car from a dealer friend. two days later i get a call and $5k to walk away.

    Though it looks wonderful, that wide body hurts top speed due to drag, so at the top end a standard C2 will crawl passed it.

    I sold a 1997 993 C4S with 9K miles for $79K USD 2 months ago.......and unusual example in like new condition however.
