New 1:64 Hotwheels, F430 Spider and 512M

I just found two 288 GTOs in yellow where instead of the Ferrari badge in silver on the rear engine cover, it's just a white rectangle... They are certainly different from the clearly visible "Ferrari" in silver on two others I got.

 

Picked up some spares today and blacked out the wheels...

Sharpie???

 

Yep. They look good in person... the flash lights up the glossy surface, so it doesn't look right in pictures...

I've got a whole collection here on my desk at work with the blacked out wheels - blue Enzo, red 599, black 599, red FXX, black FXX... the black 599 looks sinister all murdered-out.

Target had tons of new HW today. Saw the new Brit Speed...I left it tho because I'm not sure I like it enough to buy it yet. Also saw the new blue Saleen S7 but left it too because like the yellow one it has those dumb flames all over the hood.
Here's a couple "non-Ferrari" new ones I did pick up. Also found another Mystery 430. It was already opened so I figured, meh...why not. Also saw many 512's, 288's, and 250's but I already have lots of those.

Found another VHTF '65 VW Fastback at Walmart today too. Definitely trading that one for some nice Ferraris!

Sure thing... all 10 cars with black wheels... I forgot about the murdered-out Enzo, it's excellent as well (IMO)

I think it would also look cool to take a red sharpie an put a red ring around the outside of the rims. I don't think sharpie makes a marker with that fine of a tip tho.

Good score! The Tan Interior is the more common of the 2. The So-Called Pink interior is a little harder to find.

I must be blind because they look the same to me.

 

Me too - I have minor color blindness on the reds... so pink tend to be filtered out for me...

I found an older Panoz in black all scratched up and nasty in the back of my friends garage in search of a screw

 

Roy, why not add a black stripe, lenghtwise, to the GTO, similar as the 1:1?

 

The one on the right has a more pinkish color to it. The one on the left has the normal light tan color.

On the 288, looks like a notch or something, maybe a smaller pen, sharpie or something...

 

Oh, along the side... I'm with you now... the Sharpie I have at my desk has a pretty good tip on it - perhaps I'll give it a go tomorrow - worst case, I hose up my 288 and have to go spent the $.97 to buy another one...

The pink (darker of the two) interiors is barbie skin and is a bit harder to find.
