Anyone got any pics or info?

The only thing I heard about it was it was the test bed for the Countach and it created the Aztec 7 kitcar of the 70's.

    Hallo

I am big fan of concept cars. I search images from Bertone Carabo. I search scans from magazines I can not buy or own. If someone can help than help me please.

Carabo was build in 1968 and present in octobre 1968 on Paris motor show. In 1992 was carabo found and rebuild. Only few original parts was use by rebuild. All another was made as new parts. You can say they have build a new Carabo. Today is carabo half year in Bertone museum and half year in Alfa museum. Carabo dont have her own motor, in carabo is now motor from Alfa montreal and is immobile. Carabo is immobile 20 years.

Today, the Carabo is still Marcello Gandini's masterpiece.

I love this car. I hear they put alot of miles on it before it became a museum car. Nice photos from Automobile Quarterly 1969.

Are you sure about this?? The Carabo was in the Alfa Museum all the way back to the 1970's in almost perfect condition. They may have made a replica but the original Carabo was not found in 1992 since it was never lost. The Iguana was a great design too, also on a T33/2 chassis.

The Carabo was never lost and it's not a replica. It's still the Carabo from 1968.

Carabo was found in Alfa romeo factory. Carabo was in very bed condition. Rebuild have made Bertone style. And that I know from original was use only very few parts. Front grid, light was destroyed, back hood have dont exist. Motor was not found, now have caarabo Alfa montreal motor.

Have someone images "carabo in move" please?, I have never see carabo in move.

Carabo is more similar to Maserati boomerang. Giugiaro was a student by Bertone and I mean he was inspired by Ghandinis design from Carabo. He have made the Boomerang concept.

They even painted the Boomerang almost the same color green along with the silver pictured.

They are both amazing... I have some literature on the Boomerang, I can't get enough of that car. I love the steering wheel idea.
