    Hello all.
Been a silent observer on this forum for quite some time.
Was wondering how much does the insurance of F430 costs?

    hear, hear....

reality is, fellow motor heads on the roads will "enjoy" the parade, but those who merely use their vehicle for pure transpotation requirements will now. these people, in good times, will dislike exotic owners, and in bad times prob hate us; showboating notwithstanding.

i enjoy the drive as in a chance to see, smell, feel, hear other rides....my fav is the Scud n C63 for that day. but more so, is the freindship n being in the company of you guys.

It may not be as fierce looking as the Scud or Superleggera, but it's still one heck of a car. I love how the engine sounds whenever you floor the accelerator. And I thought my camera's lens will hit the windshield when you're doing that (with an accompanying downshift) :D

Derek, that's way too much IMO.

Insurance premium is tagged to brand, engine cc., insured value, age of car, excess, 2 door/saloon/cabriolet (some companies don't even cover this), claim history from the brand etc. & of course driver's age, experience & again claim history. Some insurance companies don't even cover under 25s for such cars or slap an obscene premium. So, I suppose you must be a young gun :D otherwise, time to shop for a different broker ;)

Oh u guys better take note on the extra clause for the excess. It can be anything from S$500 to S$20K!!! & you can negotiate on this. There used to be another clause for which workshop you choose to use but I think a recent regulation change ruled that out.

Lastly, the reputation of the broker & insurance company. You wouldn't want them to disappear when you need them. Good luck.

The flat undertray came about from the F355 (I'm not surprised if F40 used it as well) to improve aerodynamics but you won't be surprised if some panels are missing on older cars as it restricts access to servicing the car from underneath.

yeh it does seem like I am paying over the top .. when it's up for renewal next year I might shop around .. I'll be four oh then so maybe that will reduce it slightly.

    3604u,

I think i spotted this car yesterday, around 6+pm in the vicinity Queenstown MRT.

What caught my eye was the bloody loud exhaust (lovely, just to add) and an aftermkt intercooler (looked like a Nismo unit to me).

Didn't take note of the numberplate cos it was a tad dark by then .

    Hope it helps.

As everyone here knows...driving along circular road must pay kdk toll (i seem to notice a drastic drop in exotic cars using the road every since that decree two months back) plus since you parked in front of my mum's mama shop at 5.15pm today, that would be $35 dollars.

    Thank you.
