Saw a ref to a supercar shootout, of 5 cars : Koenigsegg slowest, Porsche GT V10 second-slowest, and Maserati MC12 fastest !!!! faster than 'Enzo, (sadly), making the MC12 formally, and glorifully, the fastest production sportscar, in production/for sale from new at this time (november 2008).

Its not a secret amongst MC12-owners that their car is technically much more advanced, comes with better engeneering and better performance figures than the Enzo.

    Ciao!

The article, on cuoresportivo.dk (in Danish), stated that the engineering for the MC12 was taken further than the enzo' s , with respects to engine power band width/flexibility/response, and downforce aerodynamics, and suspension suppleness.
