    best

i once saw bob lallemant (sadly deceased belgian collector) driving a 2 tone daytona.
iirc, it was giallo with the sides being rosso
does anyone have any pics and/or s/n of this specific car?

also, i'd love to know where mr Lallemants cars are now. his great collection used to be just a few 100 metres away from my place. i sadly do not see any of his cars any longer now

one detail that might help: all his cars (F's, bugs, delahaye, bentleys, rolls...) had a silver statue of horse+jockey in or on the cars

Very interesting, let's see what comes out.
He had an amazing collection, easily 50+ cars; red F40, red 512TR, red Lusso, yellow F50 I believe still in Belgium, lot of Rolls & Bentleys, Bugatti, and I think ex Le Mans Delahaye? Ferrari Club visited the collection some years ago, sadly I couldn't make it that day but I remember some pics I show later.

    Best regards,
    JR

    hello Folks....

I had the chance to be there when we had the visit from this wonderfull collection.

The complete car collection was sold all over the world.... Sometimes you see something in an auction that was part of Bob's collection.

    I don't remeber a 2 tone Daytona.

The F40 was damaged, and is still in reparation over here in Belgium
    and
The yellow F50 is also over here in Belgium, the new owner pulled off the horsething....

    greetings, Vincent.

i saw the daytona on a couple of occasions, it was giallo with the side flanks being red.
PS: the F50 and F40 always came out for a drive together, quite the sight!

There must be a picture somewhere around?

Do you think it was at FF40 in '92?

Yes those are some pics from the Club visit couple of years ago.

I can't imagine that the yellow Daytona has red sides or something...

    Where did you find them?

    Regards,
    JR

His 365 GTB/4 Daytona was #16321 and was sold from Lallemant's estate to a friend of mine in Munich/Germany, along with his red 250 GT Lusso #5611GT. Lallemant's Daytona was supplied new in Giallo Dino (light yellow) with red interior! The crimps on the each flank of the car were painted red, too. All the books and tools came with the car.

I saw it for sale about a year ago at Monza in Sint-Martens-Latem. Very expensive for a GT4, but looks absolutely brand new!

If memory is right this GT4 is 14898.
And yes, it's absolutely in stunning Grade 1 condition!

any idea of the vin of this crashed F40 or where it was repaired I remember it must be at the end of the FF Galleria at the Lozenberg seeing a F40 being repaired at Roberto's bodyshop the only thing left was the middle of the car (all the body parts ,front and rear were gone ) could it be the same car?
