At 11 miles per gallon you're gonna have to meet me more than half way! - I never thought I'd own a car that I look at the weather forcast first before taking it out - pity really but i'ts just so clean & perfect I don't want to spend 3 days shoving rags inside the chassis to dry & clean it after getting it wet and dirty - also my council are a bit proliferate with the rock salt on the roads & I wait for a rainy day to wash this away first.

If it wasn't for the rush I get driving it I don't think we'd ever leave the bedroom - and its a hell of a job getting a car of this size up and down stairs.

Welcome to Miura ownership :) weather.com is required before any drive. I got caught in a brief rain shower on the way back from a show over the summer and lets just say its not an all weather vehicle. Its pretty much a sunny day only car - much more so that my Dino which is a GTS!

However, Miura on a cold sunny day is a good thing, because it has that V12 heater there - works well in cold weather. I'm jonesing for a drive of mine since we've had a runny of terrible weather in new england.

Well the weather in Old England isn't much better!

Also don't under estimate the value to the car of a cold day - my old BMW sees almost 10bhp gain on a real cold morning - I bet the miura breathes easier too & makes some real measurable gains.

Thanks to all for photography feed back - all very favourable and a real testament to a local amateur photographer who despite never seeing either the car or any of the historic images previously published has started to get a real feel for the capturing the car at it's very best.

Could I also comment - there appears to be a lot of moderators hanging about from Ferrari chat on OUR miura pages - isn't there much going on in Ferrari land or are you finally being seduced by the charms of our miura?

Perhaps they will take a cue from your thoughts and re-name it "Your Miura thread" or "The People's Miura thread"...

Let's hope they will do, the actual rename was quite arbitrary

I intended the "our" to mean Lamborghini as opposed to Ferrari - Just felt there seemed to be a lot of the red world hanging about in our (lambo) pages.
