i don't know your lifestyle so i can't advise you regarding the choice between the aston cf the lambo cf the ferrari. i can tell you that the db9 to date is still the most visually appealing and aesthetically gorgeous car i have ever owned. however, and this is a big "however", the drive is a major disappointment compared to its looks. if money is not an issue, definitely go with the dbs. can't tell you how to spend that extra 100k but in your position, knowing what i know now, i would choose the dbs.

i have a 430 now and the ride is definitely more thrilling than a db9 but it is a markedly different car. in that sense, i would, if i could, own both of them at the same time if you get my drift. it is really not the correct comparison. the 599 possibly, but i don't own one so i can't really comment. peace bro and good luck.

Wow Vanq. I'm impressed, you're getting better. Did u tweaked the pics? I haven't got a chance to try HDR yet.

Perhaps you can help us to get some nice A4 or bigger posters printed ;)

Ah Tiong ah, me think it's time you get a 599. You need a V12, period ;)

Too bad I didn't have a chance to drive your DB9. Perhaps it's a little too soft?

To me, a sports car is meant to be hard edged, loud but controlled in a sense it thrills you rather than in your face attitude. The handling is very important, steering feedback, a body so seductive you'd sleep with.... in it ;) & of course the power=each throttle must send you a towering wave of tsunami & awe the occupants in the sedan next to you. Everytime you fire it, the engine note must have a sound so unique that even your neighbour's dog turns it's head. The exhaust is another story altogether.

Anyway to make it short. It must fire up your heart like a young boy hitting the prettiest gal in school. :D

Yeah, tiong thanks for d advises. I know the best way is to own both of them but unfortunately is not quite possible for now. Maybe need to have a ride on both of them to compare with one more touching , lol :D Btw, what do u meant by the major disappointment with the drive? Is it because of the interior's designs like the manual transmission gear box?

it drives like a barge! you know how when you get to know a car, it shrinks around you and you feel more and more like you are driving a kart? well, with the db9, i felt it was a big car on day one and the day i sold it, it still felt like a big car. there is no sharpness of response, feedback, etc (or insufficient), made the whole experience a little soul-less which is ironic because it looks like it would be a soulful car. the interior design is gorgeous, no complaints there!

Now i got you, driving a barge...lol. How long u owned the db9 for ,do u know how much it costs you for a dbs or db9 currently in SG? I'm not a big fans of driving barge, s thought...hahaha, then might wanna consider a lambor or Ferrari , what you recommend then? Really no ideas with supercars as never own one b4
