I just recently performed the A/C service on my 1995 348, in doing so I discovered a product that works better than traditional R134a. So I decided I would put together my first How to, for all of you do-it-yourselfers there on FChat. The product I used was called Arctic Freeze Refrigerant R-134a+ It is made by Interdynamics; it replaces lost refrigerant & oil to the A/C system and was developed for NASA. If you would like to do some reading up on the differences of R134a to R134a+, here is a link to a .pdf file that I used. http://www.originenergy.com.au/business/files/r134at.pdf I can attest to it being a much better product to give your Ferraris A/C better cooling. A link to their website and product page is below. http://www.id-usa.com/product.asp?CID=7&PID=215 So without further ado, I present my How to for A/C on the Ferrari 348 series. I hope you find it helpful. Jeff Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice work, but you kept using the word "freon" to describe charging the system. Am I the only one confused by that?
