OK.......wifey and I just saw this movie last night.

    WOW !!! F _ _ _ _ _ awesome like the last one.

Daniel Craig is the best bond ever, better than Sean Connery.........and the script writers have finally done away with the stupid plots, along with the ridiculious and the totally unrealistic, unfeasible gadgetry for two movies in a row now. The movie is just solid physical violence, with great stunts and a good plot. Love his suits too.......James Bond is back.

So, as this is Craig's second role as JB, I feel that he is not a flash in the pan now.........in fact, the character as delivered by Craig, is the most realistic, gritty, and exciting (my perception) James Bond that has ever been played. His acting and onscreen persona are exceptional, and FWIW, love the suits.

Time for another JB poll..........Timothy Dalton does not count. He was a flash in the pan. Well, not even a flash, more like a sputter.

Casino Royal was about 85% of the maximum 100% and Quantum was about 60% of Casino Royal. Not a great bond film in my eyes.

i watched most of it online and wasnt thrilled with it. the plot seemed to go nowhere. The other thing im disappointed with is the amount of action. what happened to the suave charming James Bond, who was classy. These new Bond movies are trying to portray Bond as some super hero who's falling through huge glass domes and running across cranes 15 stories up. Id rather see them concentrate more on the plot and the storyline rather than the action scenes.

When Casino Royal slammed on the brakes and shifted the action down into "park" for 45 minutes, to show a card game in real time.... I fell asleep.

Quantum made 2 hours go by very fast. I liked it :)

Some movies work 100% better on the big screen. This Bond movie is a must see on the big screen. I don't know who was director of photography? But it was cutting edge and beautiful.

The only thing I don't like... is the new trend, to jump cut the editing so fast, that you can't get a look at what's really going on! :(

Ahhh, it wasn't 45 minutes... was it? lol

I guess it was kind of a boring part, even James himself needed to shock himself back into the movie.

Still a noticable difference better than Quantum for me but it's a Bond movie, it no longer has a right and wrong.

    :) funny

I just wish, I was in the production meeting when someone suggested... why don't we show the card game in real time?

I'm kind of torn between Connery, Brosnan and Craig. I don't know who to pick :(

Like one of the critics said, "long on action and short on plot." Lots of shoot 'em up, plus the guy just won't die ;) but, I had to think back and wonder what was that I just watched for almost 2 hours?

I loved the film, Daniel Craig plays the role perfectly and is certainly doing the Brits justice in films like this, when it is up against the American style of such films like this, such as the Bourne Trilogy. Which are also great films but will never be James Bond. I was alittle suprised to see 2 Alfa 159's keeping up with an Aston Martin DBS though... whats that all about? Anyway i probably will buy the film once it comes out, but most likely will buy in on itunes instead of DVD.

Nothing moves a movie along like a guy sliding chips around in his hand while his eye bleeds. Now that I think about it for days on end, that was quite the break in action for such a high drama film.

As I put in the other Poll Thread, I really haven't seen ALL of the Bond Films, but I really like Daniel Craig as Bond. Yes he is more of a crude Bond, but you have to remember, These new films have started all over from the beginning. Hopefully as they progress he will become what we all know Bond to be. A High Class Girl Chasin' Love 'em and Leave 'em Spy.

    +1

It certainly had me eating my popcorn, but a few hours later I'd forgotten what the movie was even about.

Oh yeah - screw the no spoilers policy: Bond lives, bad guys die. :D

    I agree.

Sean Connery is still the best. IMHO.
