One word describes this video "OUCH". Especially when they flip the car back over after the tow truck driver decided to drag the car in the beginning. In the end, just careless people.

You really have to screw up to flip a car. A little scandinavian flick and your average SUV is on its roof, but a wide sports car with a low center of gravity? Are these people wiping out at near three-digit speeds?

Wasn't this the rented F430 crashed on some poor guy's wedding day?

It sure hurts to see this video... but it is cool to see what the car looks like underneath :D

Here is a fresh one from last night :(

According to the driver, the brakes malfunctioned and witnesses stated that the car did not look like it was speeding when entering the corner.

Driver passed police breath alcohol test.

I would sue Ferrari if that was really the case.

According to the article the owner just bid the plates last month for 320k HKD, which is approx. 40k USD.

Maybe a dumb question, but how do you get out of a flipped Murci? The doors open UP (meaning into the ground) and if the electrical system is dead, the windows aren't going to open.

I have pics here of a yellow Murcie, that flipped onto its roof and caught fire. The driver and female passenger were burnt alive. :(:(

I will not post pics here. It has put me off owning a Lambo incase something like that were to happen. The doors cannot open and you would have to try and crawl out of the windows. If the windows are up, then you would have to smash them. Being upside down in that, with the chance of it catching on fire sends shivers down my spine! :(:(

Not if you are a true enthusiast. It was the only way for me to experience a 360 for a few days (can't afford one yet).
I took great care of it, allowing proper warm up time etc...(and even hand washed it after every drive).
Renting one was the only way to fulfill a childhood dream. Next step, ownership!

She was an Eastern European model (Rumanian I think) - driver wanted to show off. You can find pics if you look for them, but my word they're gruesome.

Simple solution though: put a glass hammer in your car! You can then exit through the side windows, if you're not hurt too much and can still move on your own power. All things considered it is probably best not to flip a car.
