I used to have those displays. There is a problem though. They don't seem to really hold the weight of the cars. The 2-sided tape used on some and the glue used on others doesn't hold very long. I think mine only lasted about a year and I had to scrap them.

As far as Michaels selling them, I have not seen them there for over a year now. I go in on occassion to buy their Record/Album Frames and have not seen them for some time.

Today was absolutley the craziest HotWheel day ever. The shelves were completley stocked with 09' models.

    I picked up:

    3 Blue Ferrari 512M
    3 Silver ZR-1
    3 Mystery (Got an F430!)
    2 Blue Salleen S7
    1 Green Brit Blaster
    1 CCC Chopper
    1 Matchbox Blue ZR-1

And my highlight of the morning came in the check out isle:

2 White F430 in the double pack
2 Lime green Murcielago coupe (Murcielago not LP640)

Saw them in AC Moore yesterday, but they looked cheaply made, so I held off buying them...

    Awesome!!

Check base on the Brit Blaster. Supposedly the black base is a HTF variation. :)

So, the next question is are you going to open it or leave it in the package? :)

Todd - how are you planning on publishing on the web - is there a site or web software that makes the publishing in a structured format with search easy?

Good question! Most of my collection is free to roll around but there are a few I keep in the blister...this will be one of those few. ;)

I'm looking for one too - but if I find it, I'm opening mine :) I used to collect both a loose version and one in card but I started running out of space with the 5000+ items I have... So, now, I'm trying to sell the carded versions I have. Enjoy your carded car :)

    Thanks!

5000! Wow, that's a huge collection! I can understand why you began running out of room. Good luck with down sizing your collection. :)

Are they not making a regular $1.00 version of the Scuderia? If they don't I'll never find one - as the only Ferrari stuff we get here is the small Hotwheels...
