How many times do we have to debate this???? Barbara Streisand didn't buy this Dino new, nor did her agent because he wanted to use it in a film or whatever other folklore there is about this car. I can't say that Barbara Streisand never sat in this car, and I am sure the fact that she rubbed her tushy in it makes any Dino more valuable, but jees......

I am just amazed at how a celebrity connection is used to make a buyer feel warm and fuzzy. Come on, why would Barbara Streisand ownership matter? If it was Steve McQueen, I understand, but Barbara Streisand?

What kind of reputation does Champion have? I did call them about the beautiful silver car they offered a few months back - still trying to get off their mailing list now... Has anyone had direct experience buying or selling with them?

chairs and flairs. Daytona style seats and flared fenders. If you look at the pix, you can see these items. Options on 72-74 cars.

Oh, and $235K??? What planet did he just return from? There's not a buyer to be found at that price. And who cares if Babs sat in the car? Geez, it's not like she was Enzo's girlfriend or something.

Maybe it's a "Babs touched it" discount. Could it have possibly been the only $275K Dino, until the Babs connection was discovered? At least they disclose it.

I was offered $275k for my Dino in the early summer, and turned it down, because I'd just have to go buy a cheaper one, and I love MINE. Now, I have a pretty big nose, and I can't sing, but every time I look at that car, I just feel better about the world. Which is a good thing, because that probably will be the last time that kind of number floats around in a long, long, long time.

If it weren't so cold out, I'd go out and touch the car right now.

They'll have to pry my Dino out of my cold, dead hands.

I know exactly how you feel. I was out in the (cold) garage Saturday night polishing the left roof buttress on my red Dino. Had it not been colder than a witch's body part yesterday, I probably would have found another area of the car to work on. Those who can't drive (salt on the roads!) must find another outlet for their Dinomania. By the way, as my friend Bob Z. is fond of saying, it was so quiet in the garage that, if you listened closely, you could hear a FIAT rusting! Fred

What ever happened to the 365 GTS/4 that was in the movie "The way we were" You can't blame chris for crashing it after spending time with her.

Well, can't blame him for wanting to, at least. Some things just don't come off with just soap and water.

Believe the movie was A Star is Born. The Daytona Spider was the only thing that kept me in the theater.

If a particular car, Dino or otherwise, were conclusively documented as having originally been owned by Barbara Streisand, I would not hold it against the car, but it would certainly not be a selling point for me. As for "The Way We Were," isn't that the theme song of the Ferrari Classiche program? Fred

Boy they really made a mess of that car. They should have restored it back to original. That interior looks like it belongs in a Batman movie. Its a sin.
