That looked like a great event. Does anyone know when this will air on TV?

Check MSUTV's website for the channel of your suburb. In the city it is #20 (at least on my provider) and the show is normally on Monday's at 7pm. It takes him at least 4 weeks to edit the footage.

Anyhow, I'll keep an eye on it and post something here.

You guys all rock for having a drive in such cold weather, especially on a holiday. I love the variety in the turnout.
Too bad I'm home for break the one time you have an event downtown! :)

Carsleuth and Jeremy: Great job on those pictures. The Batmobile and Diablo in motion are my favourites, looks like right out of a PS3 game.

I found this picture online: It is from 1905 and shows the area where we lined up the cars for the Rock. Aside from the vegetation not much has changed:

Thanks Carla! I've noticed that when their posted larger on here it really kills the quality :( You can see the full res ones on my flickr at www.flickr.com/jeremycliff I just tried to upload a couple but it said a security token is missing and it won't let me upload them. Oh well. check the flickr to see the rest! There's like 8 pages of pics!

I took this picture while driving on Lake Shore... I couldn't even see where the camera was pointing, but I think it came out really well.

Look at the wing mirror... :)

As a non subscribed user you only have a handful of pics to upload. If you subscribe, you can upload as many pics to FChat as you like.

Did I mention that I hate Flickr? Who ever made that interface was a moron.

i've uploaded pics before though i think... in the Lambo section. I only tried to upload 3 this time. Why do you hate Flickr? I, along with millions of others obviously, love flickr. Where else can you upload FULL RES pics for FREE? And if you buy a pro account, which is 25 bucks for a YEAR, you have UNLIMITED upload space. Compared to other photo uploader sites that charge 120 a year or so. And Photobucket that degrades your pictures so bad it looks like your scanning expired disposable film. I've never had a problem with anything on Flickr, to me, its very well organized. Especially with a pro account. you can customize how your home screen looks, your first page, how you see your stats (which is an awesome feature, 1004 views in 2 hours yesterday :D!!) and much more. The groups are awesome cause it allows your to post your pictures for people to see who otherwise might not have. There's all sorts of reviews and technical questions on there for help and such if you look around. What is it exactly that you don't like?

Navigation through the pics is tedious.

Now looking at your link with the pics from this drive, it looks easy. Dunno what you changed, but that is not what I normally see, when e.g. Carla posts a link.

The other thing is, that we really don't like links to other sites on Ferrarichat for obvious reasons. The idea is that people post their pics on here. We don't enforce it, but it is preferred that people post them within the threads.

You can actually choose ways to view the pictures: thumbnails, groups at a time or slide show.
Slide show is actually the best, full size, one at a time: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeremycliff/show/

Just click on the view at various points on the page. It's easy to save pictures in different sizes too!

People have different views I guess on viewing the pictures. some people like the slideshow showing, carla, some people like the thumbnail type, me. I generally just post the link to my main page and people can choose what they want from there. I see your point on posting them on Fchat but, I don't understand why you have to upload them TO fchat to do it. IMO posting the embed code into it so the full res pic comes up is much better cause you see them in their true form, rather then these watered down versions. But i understand the idea of having people here so it draws attention here rather then some where else. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for the compliments everyone though!

WOW is all I can say! From the Rock, to IHOP to Sheridan, and the weather being as good as it could have been for November in Chicago…it was the perfect day! Definitely the most memorable Thanksgiving Ive ever had.

It was great getting to meet so many cool people, I really look forward to next time!

You tell him! (for the second time) I absolutely love Flickr. My favorite part is the interface. :)
