    My wife was screwing around with our computer and now we have this annoying button on our toolbar that I can't figure out how to get rid of, any ideas? It's the button between Edit and View.

    I did a Google search on the characters: "ÍøÖ".
    It appears to be virus or malware related. Nothing specific I could find about it.
    I suggest you run a full virus scan on your PC.

    Get rid of Internet Explorer ASAP, try Firefox or Safari instead.

    WOW, I never thought of that, thanks a million!

    I changed to Google Chrome about a week ago and have AVG Anti virus protection, seams to work pretty good, just didn't feel like paying Norton another $70.00 for protection.

    Me too.
    I also have FireFox working on my PC. It seems like a good alternative.
    Also, it has a built-in spell checker. Amazing - 'cause I can use one most of the time!

    Notice in this screen snapshot it red-underlines "Zophie" - not a word in my spell dictionary... yet.

    That would be nice. I have a habit of posting on forums and in e-mails quickly and not checking my spelling.

    It's wonderful! I agree that thing in IE is a virus. Need to get rid of it. Who knows what is being compromised right now. Hope you don't store your banking info on the computer. Don't log onto anything important until you get rid of it as it could be recording your key strokes.
