308 Clean up

A recent engine and gearbox rebuild by Marc Jones at Enzotech at Caboolture here in Qld had me looking for a way to get parts looking "nice". I wanted a standard that I felt was adequate. Well I found it. Also I cannot endorse Marc's work enough, he is a true enthusiast, and has a high standard of finish. None of these parts are painted, is all alloy as it left the factory.
If you are rebuilding anything and you want parts cleaned of any shape give Wayne Jacobson at Specialised Blasting Services a call 1300850626, tell him I sent you. He will not tell me what he uses, but it is very gentle and fine because he can take the paint off a coke can layer by layer without leaving a mark!
Don't send components full of grease and oil and crap he will not accept it, degrease and clean it of old gasket material etc first.

I'll tell you after I run it in Horsey, but on the face of it it just feels so "crisp!!!!".
The new clutch and p/plate, so much lighter and better.
And can I tell you, to drive LLLLLLLLLLittttle 308 again after sooooo long,was just bloody fantastic.
Isn't Moretti, John,,,,,,,,,,,,, John, are you there? You do remember what it's like?

 

Have to see. Might be able to do it, we are getting busy after all the storms, but grogs with Boof and Cunliffe tomorrow. Chrissy Grogs on Sunday with the usual suspects, the speak-easy on friday night,mmmmmmm may have to have a look a SPA then as well.

Off the road since June, had it 4-5 years now.

 

Yes, I saw yours at the Canberra Rally, I came 3rd. However this is not polished or buffed it's just clean.
