I have a D70s and am looking for something with more megapixels, and the D60 seems like a bargain for the money. Anyone here have one? Pros, Cons? Is it a good upgrade? Also can it do burst while bracketing?(Big deal breaker(Need it for HDR))

    Thanks

    you can't autofocus a 50mm on a D60. I would get a used D200 or D80 if you want more Megapixels.

The D60 don´t have automatic exposure bracketing, you need to do it manually...

Yeah I think the D80 would be better, D200 used can be had for very cheap as well.

The body is a lot smaller than the D70, go and hold one before you purchase.
    I have a d50 now, and also a d200, both with grips.

I was contemplating a d60, but when i held my brother in laws , i knew it wasnt for me.
You need to be comfortable gripping it i feel

From a D70-D60 is like a downgrade, you are going down in build quality and some other things. Yes it may have much newer technology, but at least a D80 to match the D70's performance. If you can find one before they go out of stock, buy a D80. D200 is fine also(a little better in some ways), and not a bad price either.
    Thanks

A D200 is superior to the D80 in almost every way. Its an incredible camera and I love mine with a passion. I am slowly starting to save for a D3 though due to the way the high ISO's are not handled all that well with the cropped sensor.
