The Nixon and Festina just rub me the wrong way for some reason...I don't even know what it is. The new Nixon's you have been showing are starting to grow on me though and as a lefty who wears their watch on the right hand I *should* like the Nixon with its left crown! What is wrong with me Chris?! Be cool! James
What?? You don't like the Festina's? They really are good looking watches. Unique designs, affordable pricing. And BIG! .....You sure you don't like em? Blue 51-30's now sold out Zillamatic gone 42-20 gone Thanks guys! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yea, Chris I like the Festina's way less than even the Nixon's, but I have to say that black w/ blue Nixon has got my eye... I know it is sold out, but I DO like that one! Mostly because I am a SUCKER for royal blue! The Festinas just look to fat to me...heavy, chunky, whatever and not in a good way to me... I have seen several of them in person and while they are very bright and colorful I just don't care for the design... Go figure. Be cool and send me one of those black and blue Nixon's when you get one in...I could live with that! James
If you think the Festina's are fat, the Nixons are OBESE Just had someone see this watch in the window and say "WOW, I gotta have that." He has never heard of the brand, just liked the looks of the watch (and our display of course, which was the draw in the first place ) Can you blame him? It really is cool looking! Sill have a couple yellow ones in stock (working on getting the blue one in James the other store might have one, but they aren't answering the phone, I'll find out tomorrow) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just an FYI as I forgot to mention it. For any locals in Valencia or the Valley that want to stop by the Valencia Town Center, we have partnered with Ball Watch USA to raffle off a Ball Watch in our store. NO strings attached, NO BS, NO purchase necessary, just a registration form needs to be filled in person and dropped in the box at VTC. One entry per person. The watch being raffled is a $1000 Ball Fireman. Spread the word to any of your watch buddies in the area. Drawing is on December 23, 2008, winner doesn't need to present Happy Holidays to everyone! Here is the link to some pics http://www.valenciatimecenter.com/index.php?cPath=115 The display has since been doctored up a bit with banners and posters, I just haven't had the time to snap photos and update. Will do it Monday. The car is locayed just passed center court on the 2nd level Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just the one pictured, all black with white numbers. I will shoot some cool shots of the Murf tomorrow when I get back in Image Unavailable, Please Login
Chris, My fat comment was at the relation of the case size to the dial size. I like it when the dial is big but not surrounded by a ton of metal case. The Nixon's have that, the Festina's have a lot of case but relatively small dials. Keep me posted on the black and blue Nixon. What is the cost of that one anyway, I don't recall seeing pricing for the Nixon's listed... James
Here are some pics of the Murfs! The 51-30's list between $320 (ss on rubber) up to $450 (all PVD) Email me for Fchat pricing
